Sometimes a reset doesn't do it. I've got Cockmast... I mean, Comcast... and most of the time a reset on my cable modem nails me the same IP, unless I feel like leaving myself offline for a significant amount of time. Not sure why, really.

you may have to release and renew your IP through the router config. just out of curiousity what type of internet connection do you have?

Comcast high speed wireless, like I said before, if worst comes to worst I'll just wait out the last 4-5 days
