@Total Destruction I also know all to well what you're going through, all 3 of my living grandparents died in 2006, and my great uncle died the year before that. Also within less than a month ago, have had to have a dog and a cat of ours euthanized, while some my just consider them pets, they're family to us so it's been a rough decade or so on me and my family as well so you have my condolences also.

My dog ran away once. I was just enjoying my day when HOLY SHIT SMOKE DETECTOR. Loud and shrill as FUCK and my hearing is sensitive as it is. I can't reach them to turn them off so, instinctively, I ran out of the house to avoid the assault on my ears. I checked for fires and such first, of course. There weren't any. Turns out the neighbor's detector had gone off (it's an apartment and the walls are crazy thin). Also, I was locked out in the heat for an hour after this incident because I forgot the door locks by default when closed from the outside, lacked the presence of mind to grab the spare key on my way (because my mind was being drowned out by the shrieking of a thousand Mishas on acid), and nobody was home to unlock the bloody door.

ANYWAY. When I opened the door and ran out, I brought the dog (understandably panicked, being a dog and all) out with me. It bolted off. My cripple leg was acting up that day so I couldn't run after it, just limping along looking like a damned idiot (can you tell I was infuriated by this?). Searched for hours with no luck, getting overheated to the point of dizziness in the process. Spent the remainder of the day in a state of fairly deep depression that, even at the time, left me rather surprised. Heard barking at around 5 AM that night and tracked a small shadowed indistinct creature to the woods. Found the dog popping in and out of a batch of gopher holes like a damn whack-a-mole game. Seriously, it made me work to catch it. Dumb mutt.

We've stopped letting the dog out on its own.




Oh! And I just met Shizune's family in her route. Whoever wrote some of these bits is awesome. XD Hideaki being...Well, Hideaki...Is still a pain but I'd totally hang out with the androgynous little bastard anyway <3. Jigoro...Ehhh. He was pretty cool for a bit but then...He turned into someone I'd spit on passing them in the street. What an inconsiderate, infuriating, uppity little twat. Disgraceful. Soured my mood. Even insulted Misha's new hairstyle! Hmph. Mr. Shiichan's-father can choke on a fucking fugu liver for all I care. BUT!~ Shizune looks really cute in her outfit! (Oh god, am I channeling Misha?)

He does have one very valid point though. Hisao's sweatervest is bad, and he should feel like shit about it.

Oh, my, no. Jigoro earned my hatred as a character when he flat-out said that Shizune not being able to communicate with the family was her fault because she "refused" to learn how to speak like a normal person. If there had been a joke bad ending where Hisao snaps and says "hey, so I just took your daughter's virginity in that spare room there while you were yelling at your son" before Jigoro attacks him with the sword, I would play it over and over again just to see Jigoro's expression of enraged shock.

Just a slice of life detail (read: lame attempt to stay on-topic): my classes are starting again (read: "Brace yourselves, Hell is coming"). I know it's not the most tragic thing, but, c'mon, my daily brainwash is beginning again.

I was originally here to post some bad shit that happened to me yesterday~!

My current boyfriend, Mr.condom-in-jacket, proposed two days ago. Seeing that we only went on like, 6 dates and really didn't know much about each other (I don't even know if he has a family or no); that and the fact that I want to focus on my studies for the time being, I turned him down in a really polite and gentle way.

....Guess what happens ?

He comes knocking at my door at 2:30 AM, drunk and yelling in the middle of the street. I've told him to leave me alone and the only thing he did was yell louder and start taking off his clothes in the middle of the street. The neighbors had to call the police. When the police arrived, they insisted thay had to take at least 3 witnesses with them, plus me. They kept me at the police station until 6:00 AM, and I had classes at 7:15AM, so I had to rush home, still in pjs, change and take a shower before rushing in a mess to the University. I arrived late, which resulted in me having a warning and extra assignments. Dx
