The axe scene in that book is hilarious.

WARNING. This movie can leave a sensitive person depressed for a few days.

I personally cried a few times the first time I watch 'Up!'. The montage scene showing Carl and Ellie growing up, in particular, was masterfully done, especially the sudden transition to the hospital implying that they'd never be able to have children together. I was all smiles up to that point, and then suddenly, 'Oh.'
Cross your heart.

Dunno if these have been mentioned but here's the stuff that impacted me:
Film: Before Sunrise. At first glance the film sounds like one giant cliche, but the dialogue hit close to home on a hugely personal level that no other has.
Music: Rehab - It Don't Matter. A song that words (in my case) depression as best as I've ever seen it done.
Anime/Manga: Elfen Lied. The idea that there's a place, and someone, for everyone is exceedingly powerful in the series. That's what I got out of it anyway.

So I've been told that I should try to get ahold, somehow, of "1 Liter no Namida."
I read the synopsis.
On the one hand: considering my current major fanfic project, I feel like I need to read this.
On the other hand, I don't know if my body can take it.

Maybe it was because I the last time I read that book I was in third grade, but that part seemed a lot more serious, although looking back on it, it is kinda funny. Oh god, I'm ruining my childhood.

I liked the manga up until it turned from a "cute girl and father figure" manga to a "teenage love story" manga.

Touch, Cross Game, Rough, Change 123, School Rumble, and almost anything Adachi-related or his works.
I guess I must be a pussy or something xD
Also Otaku no Musume-San , Full Metal Alchemist and Bakuman, these ones made me feel really excited since I pretty much picked them up at an early stage
Ofc I'm talking about manga, not an anime kind of guy myself.
Then there's also FFX in the gaming area.

I wish you hadn't brought up that point, friend. That's one thing I really despise the creator for doing, and I've been trying to surpress it.
