The amount of sheer, absolute HATRED some people can pour at Shizune. WHAT is WRONG with you people?!

Knowing no amount of money I throw at the screen will ever create KS2

Rin's route.
Music.
Hisao's dumbness.
Anal.
Lack of Misha's route.
Nothing to put on shelf.

I don't know what hurts the most. Every one of those things hurts in some way.

Probably the fact that I will never enjoy Rin's route.

I played through it twice. The first time I didn't really like it that much, although I had a pretty good idea of what was going on and the general ideas in the arc. The second time, I kept trying to put myself in the state of someone who would sympathize with Rin and would get something out of the story.

But nothing stopped those little stabs of annoyance, of frustration, when I heard whatever the most recent variant of "I can't tell you" or "I don't know" come out of her mouth. Nothing prevented the fact that I disagreed with every major message of the arc from coming to the forefront of my emotions.

Now I'm browsing these forums, seeing all the people who can and do love Rin and her arc post about it, how it affected or changed them, how it was something just as beautiful and personal as any other of the arcs in this game that I love so much. I see this sentiment pop up in the artwork thread, this thread, or just about any game-related thread on this board.

And I'll never be able to experience any of it. And I'm reminded of this every day.

Ohh, the fact that Rin is a fictional girl that none of us would ever ever encounter in our lives, no matter how deep we are into her character and her feels, is so frustrating, that you can count yourself lucky, man.

Although I do feel sorry for you a bit. Hope you aren't offended with that.

Happens to the best of us. I wasn't able to find enjoyment in Shizune's route, no matter how hard I tried. Perhaps because I despise bossy people. Perhaps because being tied to a chair and raped doesn't feel all that great. Perhaps because Jigoro (I don't even know if I spelled his name correctly) is a goddamn intolerant, self-centered jerkwad oozing with testosterone. Perhaps because Shizune's what's-his-name otouto is hotter than Shizune herself.

Hmm... Probably all of the above.

Plus the real sex scene was absolutely dreadful and emotionless.

This gif describes best my experience on Lilly's path.

My experience with Lilly's path was spoiled by me thinking that drama was made out of nothing, and Hisao is utter retard. Nevertheless, I like Lilly's path very much.
