Well, if this was the high school age "me" put into Yamaku (let's say I know Japanese), I would probably be too reserved to do much other than focus on my studies. A couple friends here or there, but not much else. Feeling of jealousy and contempt towards others. Yep, would not be a good time. On top of having to deal with whatever condition I was sent in with, that's a recipe for me becoming a sad, sad panda. Wouldn't grow out of the issues until after graduation.

We all know Japanese and have considerable but not awful handicaps, to be clear.

I feel as though we're deviating from the point here, assume you are fitting the age, language, ethnicity, etc. and go from there, we don't need to senselessly nitpick. As for me, I'd probably freak out with the surplus of time and Yamaku's apparent lack of computers. And, I dunno, try to figure out what Rin's paintings mean, although Idk If im really the type who gets in relationships, I'm fine with having just friends.

In a world where Japan inherits Brown University, maybe something like that could be plausible. Or rather, one of us should pursue not the cure for cancer but how to genetically alter ourselves for the prime state of schoolgirl endeavoring, by way of artificial disease.

If we are also assuming the fitting sex is male, then that does narrow down any opportunities greatly. On another note, personalities should be taken into account as well. Many (as Sea pointed out) would be content without relationships, and there's also the social subtleties hinting at whether or not a particular someone reacts positively to you. More so amplified if a number of people actively (and/or stealthily) paw for that person.

And Yamaku gets deluged not by a bunch of forum-goers, but by their OCs. A far worse situation.
Actually, I'm wondering how the girls would react if everyone here ended up at Yamaku. Specifically, how would Hanako react to the sudden rush of attention? It probably doesn't bear thinking about.

Well, it most likely wouldn't end well. She'd probably end up catatonic or something.
Shizune would likely be pissed off with the sheer levels of paperwork she has to do.

I'd like to think we'd be at least respectful enough not to mob her for hugs right away.

Let's not forget Kenji here, if you're like me his resistance would gain 30 people just for shits and giggles. Lots of parties with pizza, whiskey and his ramblings.
And as for the 30/10 dilemma: Battle Royale: Yamaku Edition (Isn't there a fanfic somewhere? I think I saw one.)
Anyway, I think this whole scenario would be the fun of my life, up until I get a pickaxe through my eye of course.

It would be entertaining. All the Hanako fans who say "OMG she's a perfect match for me, we're both shy and skittish" would watch that double-edged sword do its thing. If one actually did work up the nerve to talk to her then she'd still go running off and that would be that.

My guess is that Hanako'd be filing one hell of a lot of restraining orders.

Lol this scenario is hilarious. As for me, I believe that I would try to make friends with the MALES of the school, both VN charactes and people from this forum. Idk why In the VN it was stated that it was hard to interact with male students for Hisao, and instead it was easier to hang out with females; it seemed so opposite compared to reality. I would love to be friends with Taro .

As for my affections, I would at least try to befriend/get along with the main girls from the VN, but I doubt that they will like me, so I would be sad. They will also possibly be swarmed by people from this world, so I really don't know what will happen.

As for the Battle Royale idea, I say bring it on, but I'll probably be one of the first to die .
