No, that would be cheese. Or maybe sour cream, with chives.

You just broke it. And we were doing so well ;) Still, at least I can now say a lemon with prosthetics for Emi, which I've been busting to say for aaaaaaaages :P

The Misha symbol made me think of Harley Quinn and now my mind is full of awesome mental images.

I like the Rin.

Nice, I especially like the Lilly one there for some reason.

The Shizune one kinda reminds me of the Laughing Man from Ghost in the Shell. They're all good actually, Rin's is quite clever.

Emi: C10H16N5O13P3 (I so badly wanted to use citric acid here, but it fits Rin almost as much, so I didn't use it for either of them)
Hanako: C6H10O5 (I had to really, really struggle to not just use C)
Lilly: C8H10N4O2
Misha: C12H22O11
Rin: C3H4O2 (this one's a bit of a stretch, but hey)
Shizune: ClF3 (OK, that's more than a little harsh)

And, because I have to get this obvious one out of the way:

Akira: C2H6O (duh)

This is a clever idea, I like it! Had to google a couple if I'm honest (Hanako's and Rin's to be precise, I presume for Rin you wanted acrylic acid?)
If I may chip in with one, Hisao: C10H12N2O. Particularly early on.

I did. And I presume you were going for serotonin?

You presume correct :)
If I'm honest, there were a few that I could've gone for, and having just that I suppose is technically inaccurate. I think the general idea is there though.

Laughed more than is healthy at the latter :P There's a few you could have for Kenji... CHCl3? Or maybe good old C3H5N3O9?
