Technically I'm in a relationship with my right hand.

It's connected to my arm, and it's part of me. That's a relationship too. Point being that I agree that the term 'relationship' is a broad one. It's also important to know that, despite what should happen, you will confuse people saying you're in a relationship, and that's just reality. Unfortunately. People don't word very well anymore.

Or you should use context rather than the dictionary definition.
