Alright, here's my advise: Play Hanako's, then Lilly's.
In my opinion, Hanako's route is the best, but I feel Lilly's should be saved for last since it everything seems to come full-circle in the good ending, more-so then in any other route.
I'm not exactly a huge fan of Shizune, but I think her route makes the best ending. It's the only one that includes scenes about saying goodbye to Yamaku and the friends you've made there.

I'd have to agree there. Lilly's path doesn't "finish" everything at all, her path focuses almost entirely on life outside of Yamaku. While the good ending in Shizune's path isn't the most emotional, it is definitely the best ending. It shows graduation and gives the reader an idea of how Yamaku will be without them.
Shizune wraps up Yamaku nicely, Lilly wraps up Kawata Shoujo nicely.

Shizune is best ending. Wraps up the Yamaku experience and is by far the most realistic of the lot.

If I wanted reality, I'd go back to my own crappy love life…

Oh don't be like that, she'll try to figure out a way to cut off her ear with her feet.

Ahh, Shizune actually does kind of make me miss my high school ASL class. Though, I can never tell if it's nostalgia or something else. I liked the language, but hated the class. I'm pretty sure the teacher was a devil-worshiper or something.

Was the teacher constantly telling everyone
"I love you"?

And remember that this sign, popularized by Ronnie James Dio:
is apparently an
Italian symbol used it to ward off the evil eye (which is known in the Italian culture as malocchio).

True, though it's always baffled me why one would seek out in their entertainment what is already plentiful in their real life. *shrug*
