Well, there's the obvious, me running and drinking tea a lot more often than i used to.

Aside from that, i think my biggest habit was just shrugging off others if they didn't seem to care or seemed close-minded. So, ironically, kinda the opposite of others. I already respected the disabled and didn't see them differently, but attacking those who bashed others wasn't going to make any difference, and it just turns you bitter. Then you end up like Jigoro.

I eat more fruits than I used to do (Apples mostly, I like them better than oranges). I also drink (A LOT) more tea than I previously did. Though that might have something to do with my sleep schedule being more fucked than a high-class hooker.

No Katawa-dick eh? You're a hard man.
What is Katawa-dick? I am confused.

A big dosage of acid is far from boring. Good luck preaching its health benefits.

I drink more tea than I used to...Though I often mix in a spoonful of coffee grounds. Gives it a kick of caffeine and, oddly enough, a delightful chocolatey flavor.

it made me a bit more human i suppose.

when i was in my 2 year college, i did 2 internships for my major in a nursing home. the first time it was very awkward because there were a few people with limbs missing and some of them had poor eye sight and almost deaf hearing. i didn know how to act. it took a few weeks to get adjusted.

if i had played KS prior to those internships, things may have been different.

definitely more human, but also desensitized to how people look and how they are. i accept everyone as they are.

Does changing the way I adjust my glasses count?

Though, to be serious, it has helped me to be more able to look at people as people.
And also to stop despising myself.
What is there left to say?

Started cooking more, with some fair results. Started a daily exercise routine, and generally started being a more tolerant, approachable person. In short I'm much happier. :D

Katawa Shoujo was the start of a chain reaction for me. I had never really played any VN's (seriously at least), but after my first play through of KS I noticed that I found it easier to express myself and the more VN's I played the deeper and further I've been able to look into myself. I've always been a person to look inward rather than outward, but I could never make much sense of it all. But everything that these VN's made me feel helps a great deal when exploring my thoughts.

It's probably true that VN's have made it easier in the search for myself. As well as being able to express how I feel to others more clearly.

Like a lot of people have said, it has changed my perspective on cripples.
It's almost like a Fallout perk; playing Katawa Shoujo has given me the ability to view a disabled person in a romantic manner, granted it's nothing too disabilitating... That's not a word I know

Also on top of that, I've decided to pick up British Sign Language in my spare time and I'm planning on starting a morning run next week! That, and I've started drawing again :D

aaaaaaand~ I've done quite a bit of research on Epilepsy, thanks to Naomi. I find it actually quite an interesting albeit quite uncomfortable to witness thing.

aaaaaaaaaand~ Thanks to Suzu, I'm looking to start reading Shakespeare. A high target, but yaknow, I believe every Brit should be able to quote some Shakespeare. It just seems right.
Like stupid, silly doodles with no point? You've come to the right place, friend :^)
I also occasionally write oneshots. Why not have a skimread?

I kinda-sorta became less of a pushover after playing KS. I think Hanako and Rin are to thank for that.

Playing Katawa Shoujo made me realise how much of my life I'd compromised away just because I was afraid of failure. I was willing to settle on a career path I didn't like, surrounded by people who I didn't like because I was convinced if I dared to dream I would fail, and I was so paralysed by the idea of failing.

After I finished KS, I broke up with my girlfriend, stopped contact with a lot of my friends, and lost all motivation in my studies.

However, for that trade off, I became a person. The healthy habit I picked up after playing KS was I started living.

I had a reverse issue. I've seen it enough before. Joyless people up in the morning stumbling into a job they hate, day in and day out, not so much living as merely existing. Seeing that stuff all the time, I was so unwilling to settle on things I didn't like that I ended up paralyzed by the worry that I'd get trapped into that. KS pushed me out of that but it's slow work overcoming all my problems nonetheless...

I...Kinda wish I could've been there for that break-up:

"I'm leaving you."

"What, why?!"

"*deadpan stare* Crippled anime girls."
I love the interpretation of Pac-Man where he's a just a lowly worker retrieving golf balls left all over the course by the rich masters and the ghosts are all previous workers who got conked on the head and killed by incoming golf balls in the line of duty.

Exactly. And I nearly became one of those people.

Also, it was more a long the lines of (Though, the deadpan was definitely there):

"You haven't spoken to me in a week OMG, you're growing so distant."

"I was playing something."

"You mean you think a GAME is more important than me."

"Honestly, yes."

And you can imagine how the rest went. That game change my outlook so fucking dramatically in that week, I ended deleting my old Facebook account and creating a new one, just because I couldn't connect with the person I was up until that point.
I write, you read.

Katawa Shoujo did a lot for me, but most importantly it gave me the courage to accept my own heart instead of running. I stopped hiding things from people and I ranted freely. I see things that moved me and I cried freely. I felt the pain of the last decade fading away. I became healed and my heart grew stronger. I've probably said all this before, but as always, I repeat for the sake of the newer people. I'm happy being myself. I didn't so much change as much as I came to terms with what was already there all along.

I'm not sure if this is exactly a 'healthy' habit or not, and I'm more losing one than gaining one... but...

After I started reading KS, it was all I was doing other than eatting/sleeping/talking with people facebook in my free time (of course I was working too, full-time) and normally masturbation is something that I'd normally do out of boredom.

I haven't read any more KS in days since I finished everything, except for slowly reading through some fanfics and I still haven't... 'choked the chicken' per say. I haven't had the urge or real want to. The erotic scenes in KS aroused me but I didn't want to fap to em, and now I don't really get turned on by normal porn, I think it's the romance of it that gets me in the mood.

Anyone else experience this? I know someone mentioned masturbation early in this topic but I dunno if they were saying they were doing it more or less. It feels so wrong, yet feels so right, at least I don't get distracted by it anymore while trying to do things.

Other than that, I'm eating more healthy, going to start exercising when the temperature outside goes up a bit in spring. Gotta lose that weight. Also going to spend more time focusing on my future and making things in my off-time to get out of my dead-end job.
