The post a few back has it spot on - the hanako scene has the inept fumbling of two 18-year-olds down to a tee.

And for what it's worth I've seen/heard of couples hitting it off and making with the horizontal mambo I dont mean that literally. Minds of the gutter please a lot quicker than Hisao manages. None of the girl put out that quickly. Weeks or months in all cases is it not?

And never mind the H-Man, what about a couple of the girls? Hanako and Rin = suitably awkward, yes. Emi has a previous boyfriend fair enough, but for a gal who nobody has seemingly got close to before, that saucy minx Shizune sure knows what she's doing. Likewise Lilly seeing as...erm...its explicitly stated that she's had no prior experience.
