I don't know, apart from Rin, and maybe a couple of the guys on the track team, was Emi really close to anyone else at the school? I don't see the reunion really being that big a deal.

Emi's a generally likable person. might be a major voice in a reunion, and not in the Misha way.
But, meh. I can't think of a time where a wedding would be less happy than a reunion, unless Hisao gamebroke life, getting the bad end AFTER the good end.

The happiest moment in Emi's life will be when she literally becomes faster than anything else in the universe.
Or the TIME magazine thing. Whichever's first.

Emi's a generally likable person.
A likeable person who pushes people away when they like her.

This. She said so herself. She knows lots of people, but has very few really close friends. I suspect at a reunion she wouldn't even remember most people names.
Although, its possible that might change after she opens up to Hisao. Its not something I've seen touched on much in Emi fanfics I've read.

I'm sure the reunion would be nothing more than a way for her to reestablish contact with Rin.

"Hey! How've ya been?!"
"This room smells purple."
I'm not sure she'd want to do that.

With the direction some of the later options were taking, I'm surprised "2XXX: Becomes a cyber-pirate deathlord" wasn't on the poll.
Though in all seriousness, I think by that point she'd be more happy for Hisao's good fortune than her own.

Pirate? You mean Emirate?
I wish this was as relevant as I'd like it to be...I mean, the logo even LOOKS like a pirate ship.

Hisao's part is to let her know otherwise. So, there is a fair chance that she can make more close friends. Miki, for starters....

... I seriously can't believe you guys.
I chose the vote of her being featured in the magazine since that's the only one that feels purely an achievement of Emi herself.

Pretty much my thoughts. The world didn't end when she opened up to Hisao, so she'd be more likely to take the risk. Miki would make a grea tfriend, since they're so much alike.

I was torn on the Magazine personally. That'd be a huge personal achievement for her. I wish the OP had added "Winning a Gold Medal" to the list.

I personally feel achievement is twice as good when you have someone to share it with. Having the love of the right person will almost always trump anything else. But I suppose I've always been the romantic sort.

^ While that's not what i meant it is a good point, it's always better to have someone to share your life with.
Also (not directed at any particular poster) i honestly can't believe you could be "manipulated" so easily.

I don't like age 62. I don't think Emi would even care in fact I think she would turn it down because of the weeks it would take to get used to new legs. Rather then that it made me warm and fuzzy.
