Tank drivers usually drive blind as a matter of course -- they take verbal instructions from the commander or spotter. Many tanks now also have keyboard/monitor for comms, so a deaf person ( or someone whose ears are ringing from a near or glancing hit) can do that as well. And due to the tight spacing, RIn probably could indeed be the main gun loader as long as her back was braced against the interior wall and the shell rack was near the muzzle.

Overall the girls would do fine as a tank crew.

This is interesting...and it certainly caught my attention. First few minutes of the video and the first thing that caught me was 'hey, their uniform has the same color pattern as that of KS' before going 'World of Tanks: the Anime', followed with a laughter after seeing a PINK M3 medium tank and the color scheme of the rest--fuck camouflage, we're rolling with SWAG!

And then it piqued my interest again.


Imagine having the KS girls operate a PzKpfwIV with say...

And yes, a tank painted by Rin with all that psychedelic art-style. Would make a very interesting comedy...

There is an amazing old movie from 1970 called "Kelly's Heroes" with an allstar cast about a WW2 tank crew in Europe doing a bank heist. It is a total group of misfits that essentially copy the same kind of theme that you have posted about. Your idea has some serious long term fan-fic potential, putting the girls into that kind of setting

The tank crew is actually not the main cast. It primarily focuses around a group of Army infantrymen, led by a former officer (now NCO) Sergeant Kelly. They are planning to rob a bank deep behind German lines.
