And a sequel wouldn't affect Katawa Shoujo's value at all unless someone decides to judge KS based on a game that isn't KS. That said, a sequel would be pointless because there are no stories left there to lead into one. Anything now would have to be a spinoff if anything.

I'm wondering around (almost) aimlessly today in Akihabara when I stumble upon a set of fandisks to a particular VN involving a 'Nice Boat'.

Which had me thinking...

Fandiscs seem unlikely. 4LS is done with KS as far as the game so I doubt they'd bother making new content.

I know you are most probably joking, but VN fandisks have a tendency to be terrible and many are even an excuse for porn. Katawa Shoujo doesn't need one, even a sequel would be better than a fandisk.

Actually it is widely considered to be a terrible VN. Personally I thought it was mediocre at best, but the parts with the ridiculous violence were actually some of the best parts of the game. They were downright hilarious due to how over the top they were.

And if you compare it to a regular VN, it's much more like an anime.
Let's just stick with "different", and then add "VN" or "anime" depending on what you think sounds best.

Akihabara is a fun place...

...until you realize some VNs there costs more than BF3 or ME3 (and that's in standard US pricing, I believe?)
They put those in the same section in 'PC Games' too. So one minute you'll be looking at BF3, the next at Touhou, the next minute at some VNs, and less than a second after you'll be staring at boobies.

Huh, I always thought expansions are more or less fandisks that adds extra story and/or characters to the game.

Have you tried Cross Days? It just adds you more reason why the Protagonist in School Days deserves the bad ending more than the good. Guy doesn't know how to put his johnny away.
