Looks: 7 (She’s cute and those puppy-dog eyes!)
Personality: 9 (I think she's a hell of a lot of fun to be around, although with her exhaustive energy she'd tire me out (not like that...))
Background: 7 (I saw the twist coming a lightyear away, although it still gave me TEH FEELS)
Relate: 6 (I have nothing in my life that actually mirrors anything she went through, but I could understand how it would affect her.)
Personal Like: 9 (Emi is awesome, and I fell in love with her halfway through Act 1)

Lilly 45/50
Looks: 8 (She’s tall, mature and very pretty)
Personality: 10 (She's gentle, kind and caring. In fact, pretty much every character attribute Lilly has is high up on my list of important character attributes.)
Background: 8
Relate: 7 (Same as Emi's.)
Personal like: 10 (Lilly rules.)

Hanako 46/50
Looks: 10 (I thought Hanako and Shizune were the cutest from seeing their character drawings. The scars don't really put me off that much either.)
Personality: 7 (Very kind, thoughtful and playful, minus for the extreme shyness but at the end when she starts coming out of her shell she’s great
Background: 9
Relate: 10 (I'm pretty introverted, so I could see how a more extreme version of me might have ended up as something like Hanako. Plus, I tend towards White Knighting as well, and I SO could go down the Hanako neutral route with someone IRL)
Personal like: 8 (In a lot of ways, we are quite alike.

Shizune 33/50
Looks: 9 (The other girl I thought was the cutest from pictures before the game came out. Her Kimino did little to negate this impression.)
Personality: 5 (Way too competitive. I want someone I can hang out with, I have enemies for fighting with.)
Background: 6
Relate: 6 (The love triangle I could relate to, but there were a few elements which seemed to break the fourth wall which brought this score down.)
Personal Like: 7

Rin 34/50
Looks: 6
Personality: 6 (She goes a little too far out the other side of weird for my liking. )
Background: 7
Relate: 8 (The whole Rebuild Herself thing I could really, really relate to. I feel a bit like that every day thesedays, and have always been worried about the kind of person I will turn into.)
Personal Like: 7 (I liked Rin, but I felt that she was overdone a bit. I get the whole "The characters are extreme paragons of their virtues", and like that, but Rin takes it a little too far for me).

Allow me to play as the devil's advocate once in awhile, so let me get my riot shield for a second...
(also I'll remove 'relativity' since its pretty much bias in scoring, so I'll use a regular '40' system)

I'll try to be as neutral as possible.

Emi Ibarazaki
Looks: 7.5 (her new look is her saving grace from earning a '5' or a '6'. Otherwise, she's a 'loli')
Personality: 7 (Cheeky and cheerful, but behind that facade lies a scar with a picture of her father in the center. Touch that subject, and she'll boot you like a mule)
Story: 8 (A sweet love story with the right sweetness and bitterness. But unless you take the 'second chance' option rather than gun for the 'good' or the 'bad' ending, there's nothing much going for it)
Background: 9 (Her father complex(?) and past was enthralling--realistic to some degree, even. What made her story interesting in the first place is the character, and this is one of her saving grace.)

Total: 34.5/40


Hanako Ikezawa
Looks: 8 (If a burn scar that traces from the face down to her hip doesn't corrupt her cuteness, then that's something to be considered.)
Personality: 8 (surprisingly forward and full of surprises. But nonetheless, most of her potential were cut-down due to her low self-esteem and dependance on an 'escort')
Story: 9 (A story about independence. Love scenes were timed just right, emotions were juggled here and there at the perfect moments, and the endings are extremely emotional. Overall, it has the right amount of flavor and depth of story)
Background: 10 (This is mainly why her story is interesting. Without character, there is no story. Without story, there is no character. Throughout the entire arc, both of the story and her background complements each other nicely)

Lilly Satou
Looks: 9 (Well-endowed, tall, blonde. Enough said, but there's nothing else to boast about. Need I say more?)
Personality: 8 (a motherly figure, kind, gentle, and well-mannered. But behind that facade lies a chain of problems she wished to hide to preserve her outward appearance. A 'reverse Yamato-Nadeshiko')
Story: 6.5 (Standard, basic, soap-opera. Can be quite predictable. Nothing more, nothing less. It contains that level of sweetness at the ending enough to give diabetes but lacks the depth of story. The 'taxi ride' can be considered to be a major plot-hole)
Background: 8 (Aside from her family issues and how she came to be, there isn't anything significant or interesting--most of which are pretty shady, even. Nonetheless, it complements the story quite well along with the conflict it fueled)

Total: 31.5/40


Rin Tezuka
Looks: 7.5 (Boyish outward appearance. Gave away a mysterious vibe at first glance, but nonetheless nothing too special)
Personality: 8 (She can be confusing and often think out-of-the-box more than she needs to which often drives people away, but behind that character she is a hopeless-romantic individual that requires extra attention to be recognized.)
Story: 10 (A story about acceptance and understanding. Where it lacks in love and romance, it makes up in the level of depth and weight it carries for the readers. The neutral ending itself hinted something a lot more tragic than what was given)
Background: 10 (what makes her story is her background. Throughout her story, all she ever wanted--even with all the paintings and achievement--was to be understood and accepted. She never reveal this personally, but she gave away hints at certain scenes that made her a very-very well-written character.)

Shizune Hakamichi
Looks: 10 (Well-endowed, zettai ryouiki, glasses, and a figure that supports her bust and hip almost perfectly it's almost criminal. Nuff-said.)
Personality: 9 (Borderline tsundere. Hides her affection towards others with a near-impenetrable all-business character, yet softens up with banters and flirts almost instantly when left alone. Shows her affection to someone through actions and values her friend like that of a thousand. Honest, held a strong principal of 'sign language never lies'. Romantic, but often misunderstood due to her inability to relate to others)
Story: 7 (A story about maturity, it revolves around the mentality and psyche of the entire trio. What it lacks in love and romance were made up in its depth, sadly it contains a number of J-cultural references that--when missed--could complicate the entire continuity of the story. The 'bad' ending, however, hits all the notes almost flawlessly)
Background: 10 (What made Shizune 'Shizune'. Her competitive nature spawns from her desire for her father to accept her as she is, her inability to relate to others were further hampered by her isolation from a world that operates with sound, and even then her family is worth to look into further. A surprisingly deep character that was the saving grace of her complicated arc.)

Lilly

-Looks: 9 (Blue eyes, big breasts, perfect legs and overall just sexy figure, height is only downside)

-Personality: 8 (Very kind and generous, but to protective almost like a mother)

-Plot Importance: 8 (Some times is too caring and parts of the story just seem to lack depth for me)

-Background: 9 (Her family conflicts with Shizune as well as her parents, while not being as much as a conflict as with Shizune, takes it's toll on Lilly at times and you do generally have to feel sorry for her sometimes.)

Relatability: 9 (We both love tea, she can hold a decent conversation and we both have "That Healthy Adolescent Sex Drive")

Overall: 43/50

Here's mine.

Emi:
Looks: 6 (She's got that whole cute loli thing going on that I don't like that much, but she is still cute)
Personality: 6 (I would tire of her "Come'on let's go!" attitude pretty quickly)
Plot Importance: 9 (The plot is mainly based around her overcoming her fear of trusting someone else, and I found it very well written)
Background: 7 (It was very well thought out, I find)
Relatability: 10 (I do not relate to her tragic past, but I do completely relate to her when it comes to the walls I have around myself to keep most people out)
OVERALL: 38/50

Shizune
Looks: 7 (She has very nice curves, but I'm not a fan of the glasses or the stockings.)
Personality: 6 (As with Emi, I would eventually get mad at her for being so competitive all the time. But, she does have her soft moments.)
Plot Importance: 5 (I found that the plot didn't just revolve around her, but, like everyone else here knows, revolves around Misha as well.)
Background: 7 (Her background is pretty dull, herself being a normal, competitive type girl that just happens to be deaf.)
Relatability: 6 (The only thing I can relate to her is the father being a complete asshole. I hate people like that.)
OVERALL: 31/50

Rin
Looks: 10 (I am absolutely in love with that tom-boy look. )
Personality: 10 (There is no words to describe why I love how she is )
Plot Importance: 9 (The story was mainly focused on Hiseo trying to break through to her, and I loved being on the other side of the wall for once, trying to break it down)
Background: 8 (Her actual background story was majorly lacking, But I absolutely loved the background story of why she became an artist.)
Relatability: 10 (I have an extremely hard time to explain how I feel to someone I love, and most of the time I'm just silent and seemingly uncaring when really I just want to be loved)
OVERALL: 47/50

Hanako
Looks: 9 (The scars are barely noticed I find. She's an extremely beautiful girl)
Personality: 8 (I know the kind of personality she has, as I used to love someone that was a little like her and Rin mixed together.)
Plot Importance: 9 (The story mostly focuses on her, but at the same time gives a little importance to other characters)
Background: 10 (Goes without saying, beautifully written.)
Relatability: 7 (I don't have her tragic past but I understand how she feels)
OVERALL: 43/50

Lilly
Looks: 8 (She's a beautiful girl, but I've never been one to like tall or blonde girls)
Personality: 8 (She's loving, kind, and extremely caring of other people. A keeper if it wasn't for her being prone to becoming addicted to something)
Plot Importance: 9 (The story focused on her quite well, as well as exploring a little bit of other characters)
Background: 8 (Very well written backstory)
Relatability: 7 (I don't relate to her in anyway, but I do know the feeling of being separated from the one you love)
OVERALL: 40/50

That's what I got.

I shall not partake in the rating of the six main girls because fan wankery be damned! Instead i'll take a look at the background/supporting characters. I'll knock off Importance in the Story because most of these characters appear in several stories and their importance varies, and even if they appear in one story they usually play a pretty huge role. That's totally my reasoning, yep, this isn't an excuse to avoid rating something i'm not sure how to rate...Also i'm throwing out background, because the side characters backgrounds are pretty much non-existent. Oh, and my scale uses 5 as average, now that that's out of the way let's dive right in.

Akira:
Looks- 7: Akira is pretty damn hot, problem is I don't find the "woman in a suit" thing all that attractive, although she does look classy as f##k. I knocked her down from an 8 because I find her hair exceptionally stupid, it just annoys me.
Personality- 5: I'll probably differ from a lot of people, but I don't particularly like Akira's personality. I like that she's driven and she'd probably be fun to hang out with, but she feels kind of flat to me, "drinks a lot" is one of her notable traits for crying out loud. Nothing amazing, nothing horrible.
Relatability- 8: While I can't relate to her situation with her family, I can definitely understand where she's coming from in the scene where she's sitting on the park bench drinking and talking to Hisao. I know what it's like to have had to/to be pushing yourself through school while dealing with unavoidable issues outside your control.
Total- 20/30: I would totally bro it up with Akira, she'd only be good in doses, but it'd be a lot of fun. No way I could ever date her though.

Kenji:
Looks- 6: Kenji a 6? Le Gasp!? I know, I know. To clarify i'm basing this score on the scene where he takes his glasses off and you can see his shaman eyes. He makes handsome Squidward look like Gollum in that scene. His wardrobe is pretty bland though, and the massive glasses don't work for me. If he cleaned up he could probably push for a 7 or 8.
Personality- 4: Kenji is...interesting in this regard to say the least. While his insane banter would eventually get annoying it would be funny for awhile. He's also shown that, all evidence to the contrary, surprisingly friendly (see his interactions with Lily and Shizune). That said, the mooch thing would get old and the rambling would be more annoying than funny.
Relatability- 1: Yeah, this is to be expected. Kenji's either pretending to be insane ala Hamlet or he's bought a one way ticket to crazy town, I can't identify in either case. Also i'm a feminist, so...yeah.
Total- 11/30: Well this looks bad, but it's actually lower than it probably should be. The lack of relatability really killed him, I wouldn't mind hanging out with him for awhile though. Although i'm not sure how open he'd be to me about the feminist conspiracy all things considered.

Nurse:
Looks- 7: The Nurse is cute in a weird sort of way. He's kind of generic and nondescript, but he's alright, and he makes that coat look swagariffic. Not sure who to feel about the eyes things.
Personality- 9: The Nurse is probably one of the nicest characters in the entire story, he's understanding, friendly, and helpful. He's also got a sense of humor and likes to push peoples buttons to try and get a rise out of them. Just a nice, fun dude all around.
Relatbility- 6: I don't know how he manages to be so damn nice and understanding when dealing with idiots like Hisao and Emi, i'd probably have killed them both by the first act. I love his sense of humor and could definitely trade jokes with him all day.
Total- 22/30: Nurse-kun(ugh), is probably my favorite supporting character in the whole novel. He's a good guy who's easy on the eyes and fun to be around, if he were a chick I would be all over him.

Gotta do actual work now, i'll be back later with Nomiya, Meiko, and Sae.

I find it rather funny that so many people get on Lilly's case about being too tall, when the devs have said that she's only 5'7". Yeah, she's tall compared to the other characters, but that's only because Japanese people are typically shorter than caucasions.

-Looks: 8 (Hideaki is really, strangely good looking, probably because he is so feminine)

-Personality: 8 (He seems like a really down to Earth guy, a tad shy, but can be fun to talk to when he feels like talking)

-Plot Importance: 5 (Is in no real way important to the plot but appears in 2 paths and has some interesting dialogue)

-Background: 3 (We don't really find out much about Hideaki, He just, keeps to himself too much)

-Relatability: 8 (I can quite happily keep to myself like Hideaki does, I wouldn't share the same fashion sense though:L)

Overall: 32/50

I'm not gonna rate "plot importance" or "background", 'cuz I'll probably end up repeating what everybody already said...

Rin:
Looks: 9 (Am I the only one who finds her attractive? Her tomboy look is cool and she has a really cute face.
Did I mention her sexy toes ?)
Personality: 8 ( She's intersting and funny. It's hard to describe it but there's something special about her)
Relatability: 10 (I really have the same problems as her. I am not good with words, and no matter what I do I can't seem to connect with anyone)

Lilly:
Looks: 8 (She's really beautiful in every way, and though it mind sound weird... I like her eyes a lot.)
Personality: 10 (She's loving, Kind, Caring, and fun, what's not to love about her?)
Relatability: 9 (I don't relate to her much, but I know how bad it is having to move away
and losing contact with persons you care about)

Akira:
Looks: 8 (Look at her ! Shes hot!)
Personality: 9 (Awesome person all around)
Relatability: 7 (I relate to the way she's there to try to cheer others up)

Misha:
Looks: 9 (Sexy drills+sweetest smile ever ? Do the math!)
Personality: 7 (I love how playful and happy she is all the time)
Relatability: 9 (Hiding your feelings with laughter all the time ? Are we talking about her, or me during my highschool years? )

Emi:
Looks: 6 (She looks too loli for my taste, but DAMN.. her eyes are beautiful)
Personality: 7 (She's really fun to hang out with)
Relatability: 9 (I don't relate to her loss. But I completely relate to her in the way she tries to keep people away, also her fear of losing people)

Shizune:
Looks: 4 (Not a fan of glasses and such)
Personality: 6 (Honestly I was gonna give her a higher rate at first. As a friend she seems like a really fun person, but she goes into "student council mood" way too often, and that's really annoying.)
Relatability: 4 (there's nothing I can really relate to, so ...yeah ...)

hanako:
Looks: 4 (Her scars aren't ugly. I don't really like the way she looks much...but as I said before it has nothing to do with her scars)
Personality: 3 ( I have nothing against hanako... but she reminds me a lot of a bad person I used to know)
Relatability: 7 (I guess it's pretty easy to understand how she feels)
