PS: Is it bad that this fic immediately made me think of Penumbra: Black Plague? Kenji being in the poor sod's head, and the 'cold floor' doesn't help, either.

By the way, by ECT do you mean electrochemotherapy, electroconvulsive therapy, elementary cognitive testing or something else altogether? Because neither seem apppropriate for curing hallucinations...

I'm going to assume the doctor being named Allen is a vague reference to one of your other stories (I think it was yours) where Hisao says that Nurse seems like an 'Allen' to him. Or am I wrong on that?

Kidding aside, it's just something I remember from my time in the behavior health wing at the hospital - long story short, my roommate mentioned going through ECT because he hears voices

I have the strangest feeling that Hanako doesn't exist either.
