I'm liking this so far!
Unique concept too, makes it all the more interesting.

...or maybe Kenji DID exist and the powers that be are convincing Hisao it was all a lie. 'There are four lights' and all that.
FEMINISTS!

We warned you about it, Hisao.
You should have listened to us and stayed away, Hisao.
None of us wanted this to happen, Hisao.
You can only blame yourself for this, Hisao.
You shouldn't have gotten so close to the Rainbow Wizard, Hisao.
And know It has seized your mind.
PS: Is it bad that this fic immediately made me think of
Penumbra: Black Plague? Kenji being in the poor sod's head, and the 'cold floor' doesn't help, either.

This is interesting... I bet this is just a feminist plot to make us think that the great Kenji never existed!

Well, it would be one explanation why they admit Hisao to a mental hospital instead of simply having him see a therapist regularly.
By the way, by ECT do you mean electrochemotherapy, electroconvulsive therapy, elementary cognitive testing or something else altogether? Because neither seem apppropriate for curing hallucinations...
Well, the second might have been considered appropriate 50 years ago...

Your gonna make him brain dead aren't you? (If not that then Kenji becoming the main identity after getting Hisao killed)
Personal thought: As if Hanako hasn't been through enough

Nah... the truth is that Kenji is who he really is, Hisao is the personality he's gained to cope with whatever trauma those bitches have inflicted.

I'm going to assume the doctor being named Allen is a vague reference to one of your other stories (I think it was yours) where Hisao says that Nurse seems like an 'Allen' to him. Or am I wrong on that?

No, I'm glad I'm not the only who was somewhat reminded of that by this story...well, then again, maybe that IS bad...

Well, since you used an acronym, I assumed you knew what it was supposed to mean instead of having invented one at random.

Maybe it would be better if I replace it with APT - anal pounding therapy [insert Emi in track supply shed joke]
Kidding aside, it's just something I remember from my time in the behavior health wing at the hospital - long story short, my roommate mentioned going through ECT because he hears voices

I have the strangest feeling that Hanako doesn't exist either.
