OMG that picture . I do agree that what we know as of now about Hanako, she wouldn't be the type to instigate that sort of action. On the other hand however I wouldn't put it past her...

Having everything in quotes makes Hisao appear to be narrating his thoughts aloud. This should seriously freak Hanako out.

Having read what I did, I'm not all that certain Hanako would say or do what she did until perhaps much later in the game after getting closer and closer to Hisao. It's already apparent that she's at a point in the first Act where she can talk to him without shivering much, but she's still not quite out of her shell.

I still haven't read the whole thing yet, but I will after posting this...

But from how it looks like so far... he writes it like he was making a Ren'Py Script, due to the fact that it starts with "label" and names are all using the character syntax...
