I did the same exact thing. I just sat and enjoyed the scene, with the music, and the camera motion/smoke effect. To me it was when I really felt like I began to understand Rin, and I got really caught up in that.

Forgot to add some:

Hanako revealing her scars to Hisao. Perhaps one of the most legit heartbreaking scenes I've seen in a game (besides Shadow paying his dues at the end of Final Fantasy VI).

Emi and Hisao at their father's grave.

Shizune, Hisao, and Misha walking in the park or whatnot. It's even better if you chose not to sleep with Misha because it's legit heartwarming

Lilly's mother like embrace with Hanako.

Actually, if I correctly understand what scene you're referring to, you can only reach that image if you choose not to sleep with Misha. If you do, then Hisao feels too guilty to leave the rooftop with Shizune and Misha, and lets them go off together without him. This is actually an extremely important plot point because, as far as I can tell, it's the main reason Shizune decides to break up with Hisao in the bad ending; she thinks he is avoiding her and can't figure out why.

Any scene with Hanako in her casual wear.

The final image in Hisao and Lilly's storyline. It's just a nice scene to admire for a moment, and to allow you to reflect on the playthrough.

One last thing: Lilly's body, when she undresses?
The artists gave it amazing symmetry. She is beautifully tailored together. Reminds me a bit of Botticelli's "Birth of Venus".
And, no. I'm not thinking dirty thoughts. I really do appreciate the artist's work.

I'd have to say my favorite picture in the game is the literal one Akira shows you during Lilly's route, with Shicchan and Lilly and Misha all getting along together at the previous year's festival. It really synthesizes the cumulative feels of both Lilly and Shizune's arcs.

Honorable mentions to the wheat field scene (of course), the cardboard crane picture, the ending picture in Hanako's good ending (in front of the bakery, with those delicious muffins in the foreground), the fishing trip picture, with all of them on the dock (Akira looks especially good in this one), the picture with old-school Misha and Shicchan in the student council room (i.e. Misha's flashback during Look Aside/Look Forward), and lastly (but certainly not least), Hanako's crayon drawing of herself crying with her house on fire.

Fuck, that last one can make me cry on cue. Shoddy artwork, though.
