That doesn't look like it should.
The first command is what the shell script generates to start KS. I wanted to see what it did directly. And saying that lib/python is a directory is odd.
The second command just lists the file lib/python in long format. This shows that lib/python is actually a symbolic link to "python" in your system lib directory. This is definitely odd.
So either you messed up the KS installation or the one you downloaded is not original. If you don't know what "ls" is, then I doubt you can make symbolic links on your own, so I assume it's the latter. My advice, delete everything you have of KS. Download/torrent a new linux file from here: http://katawa-shoujo.com/download.php. Unpack and start like I mentioned before.
