Heh... maybe I wouldn't mind Iwanako showing up and getting it on with Kenji, but I don't think she needs to show up in person to create drama.

I'd love for her to show up again briefly. Not as any integral part of the story, but more as a catalyst for him to divulge the full details of his condition to whoever he is with or something along those lines.

I don't think Iwanako has any potential as a character; she's a device, but one that could be used very effectively along a few routes.

ok i was just suggesting this maybe he could get better in katawa shoujo 2 if they would make one and that would also involve iwanako too. I know it could be a side track and they are focusing currently on the five paths for the girls in yamato school still this would have been an intereting outcome for a "5 th" girl in the game. as you all know in the beggining he got that heart attack because Iwanako asked her to go to a date . So it was only a suggestion from my part that his story to be implemented it would have also been an intersting outcome. I found Katawa shoujo only in 2010 so thats why i posted this so late when the game could be almost finalized. So i guess its only a dream that Iwanako could be introduced its probably also too late beacuse that would mean another story to be written for that one too

It's not an issue of whether it's too late for the devs to write him getting better for KS 1 (assuming there ever will be a KS 2); it's that Long QT Syndrome can't be cured. Hisao has literally no chance of recovering fully from his disease, so the best he can do is to live with it.
