In other news today, the total japanese export market has taken a dramatic drop in the last six months nearly halving there total export
maybe not that dramatic... but the point still stands in regards to eroge games...
might actually be like that if it sweeps into all markets and the like though

Okay, from what I've read, the EOCS is like the ESRB for h-games. But there's a separate union called the CSA. The approval of one of these companies is pretty much required to publish and sell an h-game. So for most people to bypass this, all they have to do is jump ship. Or something.
Meaning, not all hope is lost, but the news is still unsettling and stupid.

Poop wasn't on that list.
They're still allowed to make poop-themed H-games I take it?

I agree with all the angry ones who are pleading social rights and whatnot. I'm too lazy to write anything unique so I'll just "I don't like most of that shit but there are people who do."

My suspicion, is that this will simply leed to different fetishes becoming prevalent in H-games. Leather/latex, gothic, amputees, footjobs, monstergirls...

And just when did these fools decide that cutting their own throats was a good business model? Lets face it; these guys can't make it with "plain vanilla missionary" sex. That market is already saturated in almost every medium. The kink niche market was where they lived and now they have just commited themselves to a suicide pact for a business model?
But then again, thats fine by the folks who who pushed it. I think most of them are opposed to sex in any form anyway and would prefer test tubes and petrie dishes anyway.
I'm sure not into the stuff, but I damm sure hate smug bastards who tell me "I can't look" because they have decided it is "for my own good". These asses think that everyone else is too weak minded to be allowed to think for themselves. Rat bastards...
<deep breath> ok I'm done now.

You mean they aren't making games like that already?
Developers aren't going to get new tastes and new target audiences (rather, their tastes and audiences will now be restricted), and it's not like the prevalence of "train molestation" is overshadowing those fetishes you mentioned.

ITT: Hyperbole
This is why you don't use Sankaku for news. It's actually ONE (1, Un, Uno) distributing company's requirements a game must have (or in this case, lack) for it to be sold.
This was done to death on /jp/, the guys over at Sankaku should be ashamed for poor journalism.

This is true. The issue with banning content in H-games is that there
always will be something that appeals to one group or another. And then something will always manage to piss off the guys that want it banned.
Like with Jack Thompson.

So now that all these "fetishes" are being banned...
Whats the point in having Japan then?

I don't think the feminazis will want it to stop at games. Next'll be H doujins, then images ... you can see where I'm going with this ...
Time to stand up and fight these evil-doers! WHO'S WITH ME!?

Feminazis are IRL trolls. If you fight back, you already lost.

Sadly, people still listen to rabid feminists....
Even sadder, is that policymakers still LISTEN to rabid feminists.
The sickest part, is that the more you give them, the more they take.
Makes me want a sex change, to be honest.
