Well, I got a reply, and the guy probably won't be selling them. Can't blame him for that; I wouldn't. XD Also, I'm not sure it's right to sell things inspired by a free game. It does seem he'll continue working on them, though, and they should be done fairly soon.

i guess it's because if he modelled her with her prosthetics (did i spell that right?) it'd be too frail to support the rest of the figure.
i think he did OK on the drills, but lilly's hair, not so.

Maybe he could make them out of metal?

I don't blame him, drills are harder to make than they look.
Then again, I have zero artistic talent. To me everything is hard to make, but drills in particular seem pretty hard.

I bet the creators of Katawa Shoujo could earn a lot on just merchandise if they started making them.

darn, if only they weren't busy with that whole "game making" thing

problem: everyone's busy working on the game, no one has the time nor enthusiasm to start a merchandise range.
solution: recruit more people to do it
result: flurk gets banned from forum for telling the devs what to do

Problem: MONEY MAKES EVERYTHING TERRIBLE AND COMPLICATED
Solution: Don't sell merchandise.
