Yes and no. Feel free to patch up one if you like.
Here come the Legend of Zelda-esque timeline theories...
Not that that would be a bad thing...
My question, though it might've been answered before this thread ever happened:
To the main writers/artists of one character route, would/do you still enjoy playing the other routes? Or has developing the game in general spoiled the entire storyline/gameplay from your player's point of view?

Was there an official team of beta testers, or did you all just look over the game yourselves before release?
At least for me, no. There were beta testers.

But with the release, will any merchandise be released? I'm not the type to flaunt in public with this stuff like shirts and etc, but I do enjoy posters and the like.
No. We generally don't and won't do any merchandize, with some special exceptions like the artbooks.

I don't mean 4LS as a whole when I say this, but has this time working on this made anyone in the team you know of decide they might want to make another VN at any point?
Also, what advice would you give someone who might be attempting to work on one themself? (I have a friend who codes a lot that wanted me to help him write a story)
And not really a question, but Hanako's writers, thank you so much for the "Dune" reference, even if I don't agree that "The sequels weren't as good as the original."

I noticed a few "alice in wonderland" or "through the looking glass" references. Are any of the writers fans of the works? Just plain curiosity :P

Since all of us have worked on all the paths at least in feedback/editing/proofreading/testing capability, I think most of the magic has been taken away, yes. I do know a few of the artists specifically chose to not read the script of some paths though, and so are only aware of what the art looks like. They can enjoy those parts of the game in a kindasorta similar way as other people.

For example, does Rin still do the art exhibition if you follow Shizune's path? Do Misha and Shizune still have a fight if you are following Hanako's path? Does Lilly go back to Scotland if you're following Emi's path?
Yes, the stories are parallel. Obviously events instigated by Hisao might not happen. Will Rin do the art exhibition if Hisao is not there to encourage her and so on?
Was
Misha's haircut a result of Hisao's actions, or does this event happen in all paths?

Nobody has made any concrete plans about future projects.
As for advice, keeping your project in proper perspective is pretty important. I mean, you will be really awful at first, your first attempt will likely suck. You should acknowledge what is within your limits, and what you need to do and learn to expand those limits. You should have a very coherent picture of the entire project in your head at all times. In a word, understand what you are doing, don't just fuck around.

1) This is better quality than some professional VNs I've played. Thank you.
2) (The actual question) As someone who has a disease very similar to cardiac arrhythmia, I'm also on a bunch of medications. Were you aware that one of the most common medications for heart conditions like arrhythmia is actually Viagra?

In reference to the artbooks mentioned, when can we look forward to those (not a specific date of course but like a generalization would be great) and what will they contain? Concept art and the like as well maybe? And finally, once it is released, will there be a link on the website to purchase? or third party? As an artist myself, I'm just highly interested in the prospect of an art book..

Did any of the writers go out of their way to subvert expectations? Not to troll, but to give a non-clichéd experience?

I somehow managed to get every characters route completed, but I'm at 99% because I'm missing something between "Home Field Advantage" and "No Recovery." If anyone could post the choices I need to make to get this one, it would be helpful because I'm not even sure which route this spot falls under. All I know is that it is some spot in Act 1.

Hanako's path was kind of sort of a deconstruction of paths that usually surround characters like her, including the white knight trap. Lilly's path was more or less played straight, aside from the fake bad end.
Other paths I won't speak for.

Yeah. We have a registered nurse on the development team (Silentcook), who's helped us a lot with getting our medical facts straight. That isn't to say the lines aren't slightly blurred though as narrative requires.

As a sort of reverse copy of this question, paired with the... excentric nature of some writers: have any of you ever resorted to writing over-the-top Broujo-esque sidestories to alleviate stress and writer's blocks in the hard moments of development, without the intent of putting it to serious use?
By the way, thanks for answering my previous question. I hope this one's not worded too ridiculous.
