...that was beautiful. XD
Seriously though, how many KS forumgoers have read WTC? Because it seems like a whole lot.

It's probably going to be quite a few if you ask in the VN thread

Two random Voltaire-songs linked in one day? How strange.

So I got School days the other day and just got through my first playthrough
I was fairly dissapointed, it starts off really good, but the story (at least in my route) starts revolving around sex a little too much for my liking. I also went and read some of the endings (more than just the infamous ones) and realized that all of these people are really probably just batshit insane, which kind of turns me off of the characters :b

It's a very unique (imo good) eroge.

Welcome to School Days, and most eroges you'll ever find.

Many VNs will tend to revolve around sex simply because the VN format is suitable to such games. The trick is separating those from the better ones. And as for the characters...It's School Days. They ARE all batshit insane.

I've started playing Shuffle!, and so far it feels like I'm playing Muv-Luv Extra all over again xD
Super minor spoilers:
You live with your childhood friend whom you are not interested in romantically, your neighboring houses are mysteriously replaced, the daughter (or in this case daughters) of someone very powerful move in close to you because they met you a single time when you were little kids and have loved you for no reason whatsoever ever since

So it would be worth the time? Or is it more focussed on H stuff?

It's focused on H stuff, but it is pretty interesting to watch the interactions of a few batshit insane teens, so if you like that kind of stuff it's worth your time.

It's definitely worth the time.
The whole story basically revolves around the protagonist's sex drive, but it's very interesting to see how all the "insane" characters react. Especially since
you sometimes can be such a player and rape girls, but they seem to think it's OK once it's over (even though the real you want to kill the guy).
It's made in an anime format, which is rather unique, and really makes it easy to play. Some of the "decision points" will give you the option to not choose either of the alternatives; which is great if they both are bad.
I think you should buy it. It's really cheap if you don't buy the physical copy or the Collector's Edition.

I guess my only problem with School Days is that there was absolutely no emotional attachment to the characters (and to make it even worse, the attachment started to form in the beginning, but then completely dissolved at the climax and ending) I guess that's the thing I really like about VNs (of the two I have played)
maybe KS set my expectations too high, but Kira Kira was really good about that.
