How about when they do make sense? When Lost Planet 2's running, I often imagine the group partaking in a Shizuist-backed military overthrow.

NEVEC is under Shizune, E.D.N-III is all under Shizune's control. She wanted to take all the thermal energy and try to conquer Australia again.

I guess I was saved by the fact she's really into anime/mange and such, and a fan of VNs, especially Key's
