Awesome, 4 days away from birth day. That's close enough to count.

...and what you all don't see here is my untold praise for the devs, rejoicing over the game, plans for doing it in around ten days, and hopes that I get the Hanako path first.

Edit: Oh, one question though, on the 0:57 second video we all probably watched, during the rapid flashes of people, who was that girl second from the last? Either she's new or I'm so tired that I can't recognize her.

My last exam will be on the 13th, and my birthday on the 23th. An early, but perfect present. 2012 hasn't even started yet and it still looks awesome.

And what a disappointment that is. I would have gladly jumped at the opportunity to go stargazing with Hanako or Rin.

I'm actually glad that the game won't be released during the Christmas Holidays. When there's Christmas Holidays, there's relatives, and I would never get any playing done with various family members hounding me (Think of what would happen if they caught me playing an erogue game).

Besides, I'll be on winter break until January 19th, and I'm pretty sure the rest of my family doesn't have that long. Therefore, I will have plenty of me (and just me) time to play Katawa Shoujo.

The initial release will only be in English. The translations will come later (I assume this is to avoid spoiling the game for the translation teams or anyone they might tell).

Depends on the efforts of the translation team. As far as I am aware, only one of the translations is actually "official" and answerable to 4LS. The others have the blessing of 4LS, but I don't know whether 4LS can check their progress (or correctness).

The italian translation; it was done by Silentcook and will more than probably be done again.

As for the former question, it is pretty much known that the project in its entirety is near half a million words. Go figure how much time that takes.
