This ought to resolve all your questions on the subject.
Myself, I have just found a new level of frustration at the silliness English can get away with.
Shattering your dreams since '94. I also fought COVID in '20 and '21, and all I got was this lousy forum sig.

Hee-deh-ah-kee would be a close fit. The 'ee' sounds drag on longer in English than in Japanese, so imagine it as a shortened sound. Hi-de-a-ki would work if not for the ambiguities on how the vowels sound. Also, remember how the syllables work. They don't normally end in consonants, so 'ack' wouldn't work.

It's a good thing Shizune is deaf, she is the only one who can stand (not) hearing "Wahaha~!" over and over.

Why don't you just use IPA for pronounciation instead of the very ambiguous "english" syllables?

It's easier to pronounce them assuming people know how to read Hiragana and Katakana--then convert those names into such.

Pretty much that's how I pronounce them :)
