A take on the old xkcd gag, inspired by a... "spirited discussion" in the Hanako thread.


I like to imagine Hanako as a secret computer nerd.




All you Lilly-friends out there may recognize which scene this is leading up to (as well as a "family resemblance" in the last panel). The punchline is just there to distract you from the real joke, which is the reversal of the two girls' usual roles.


I should probably redo this at some point; I didn't originally intend for it to be anything but a rough sketch, and it shows.

Funny you should say that, since I actually referenced it. It's a toned-down, "more indignant than furious" version of her bad-end rageface.

Hanako sketch I did when I couldn't get to sleep last night. She's looking a little more grown-up; maybe a couple years after the end of the game. Don't really know what's going on with the coat on the left, but she seems very happy with the neckerchief on the right.

On and off for most of my life. Mostly off, the past 10 years or so. It's not something I do "seriously."

Maybe it was when she told Hanako she has to abandon her best friend and new found love because she was 'summoned' back to Scotland by a family that's only ever shipped her off to boarding schools then deserted her in a foriegn country. Nice art by the way.
