Your favourite piece of the OST?

Post by lblf »

Hey guys,

We've all been waiting and now the OST is finally out. I think the reason KS is such a beautiful game is in huge part due to the music. It invokes all the right emotions at the right time, not to mention its just brilliantly written. I wanna say that me saying this is something cause I don't usually listen to this kind of music (but then again my taste is pretty broad).

So I'm sure by now most of you who have downloaded it would have listened through it already just as I did. What's your favourite song? Mine's "Ease" because its just quite uplifting and just has this warm fuzzy feeling especially towards the end. "Concord" because well I love Lilly :)

Can I presume, fan of Hanako? Can't argue with your choices, Innocence is great as well.

Favorite: Romance in Andante II.
Runner up: Caged Heart
Best theme: Parity
Most powerful: Shadow of the Truth.
Most generic: Generic Happy Theme
Why does the OST feature so much piano, despite the fact that not even a single piano exists in the entire game!?

I think I just feel like listening to sadder music at the moment :P

I have to say

It's kind of ironic that, despite the fact that the piano is by and far the most-played instrument, there is not a single piano to be found in the entire game.

Haha, interesting observation.

I know, I was just about to say when nyttyn mentioned "Romance in Adante II", that that's awesome as well. I think in the end I'm just gonna agree with everyone haha

1. Painful History (powerful and emotional)
2. Ah Eh I Oh You (jazzy and upbeat)
3. Sarabande from BWV1010 (the music box, no explanation needed)

But yeah, they're all good. The only one I dislike is 'Out of the Loop', although it's a fitting theme for Kenji.

Breathlessly and Innocence.

But especially Breathlessly.

'Painful History' Not even because of Hanako, just seems the most heart-wrenching song on the ballot.
'Shadow of the Truth'/'Moment of Decision' as runner ups
'Breathlessly' as third
'Cold Iron' in the back.

The rest are all well and good, but those are the few I really enjoying listening to outside of their context. Depressing as they may be. But when I'm playing through the VN I enjoy the rest almost as much as these.

Its not really my favorite, but "Caged Heart" is a pretty good "oh shit what's wrong" piece.

Cold Iron, Concord, Pairty, Caged Heart, To Become One, Standing Tall, Main Theme, Painful History, Everyday Fanatasy and Stride. My favorites in the entire game. But to be honest, there was not a single track I hated or dislike in this game. Each song was amazing!

Question: Is Caged Heart the theme of Haiso or does he even got his own theme?

Generic Happy Music is my favorite track, not even kidding. I like the bass line and the chimes.
