I'm surprised no one mentioned Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls maybe for Hanako or Hisao.

And I might just be completely insane, but I think A Little Faster by There for Tomorrow fits Emi and Hisao's relationship. But like I said, I could be absolutely insane and imagining this.

I was just thinking of this the other day when I was listening to this song:



The western style, the fact that it's about not wanting to let somebody slip away and the emphasis of "listening" to heartbeats (rather than something visual) made me think of Lilly's entire storyline.
(and disregard the silly album cover and artist name, it's still a very nice song. Also, it's a cover but I think Eddie does a better version.)
