What's Rin's favorite food?
I don't know.

"I wanted to write a Kenji path, but was shot down due to technical issues." said Losstarot (Guest Art by Kamifish) in the blog long time ago.(July 24, 2009)
what was the original "path" of Kenji? i have the heartilly (i wrote this right?) who all that little hints and that strange-awesome scene without glasses is a hint of part of "his path",same with the rooftop scene, the bath scenes and even when he appears, enter to his room and want eat pizza with him(with Hisao money, of course)in the Shizune´s path. finally in Shizune path exist a kind of "Kenji friendship path"like bonus im really curious about how he was in the begin and how would be engaged with Hisao. was friendship route, love route (why not? more breaking barrriers in this kind of games) or both?
It was never written or even planned so we'll never know.

That said, I was wondering if the concept of writing culturally Japanese characters as English authors was ever an issue. Did you decide from the get-go that you would refrain from using honorifics (e.g. san, chan, kun, etc.) to produce more natural sounding speech? I can't recall, but I also believe there might have been a few English idioms that found their way into the game. Did you have someone advising on Japanese language/culture?
We debated the honorifics issue for some time, but in the end it was an obvious choice to drop them. It's a bad idea to use Japanese honorifics in English text. We didn't have any advisor.

For the "teenage girly artists". Did your parents/siblings ever walk in while you were drawing explicit content for KS, or otherwise discover this? And if it happened/isn't too personal, how did that go?

Also, which members of 4LS made it all the way from the beginning to the end of the project?
For the second part: hivemind, me and A22. Possibly also crud could count.

Some of them play on the themes of the girls, but they are unique compositions. They're not in the jukebox, we'll decide about the inclusion to soundtrack later.

I don't think this has been asked, but how did you guys come up with Arrhythmia for Hisao?

What gave you the idea for Iwanako's letter and having it appear in all five routes?

:?: I know the translator's thread is closed, but do any of you guys (devs) need a Japanese translator? I have quite a bit of free time, and I don't mind doing extra work. Afterall, it would be a good way to practice my Japanese, plus I'd get to bring this game one step closer to the world. My college degree major was in Japanese (along with studying abroad in Japan), so I have some degree of competence.

If you need a translator, just hit me up with an email: svgarceau@gmail.com

Why hasn't anyone answered my questions from the previous thread?

First off, a truly epic hats off to all who made this project possible. I'm very sure this one's going to remain one of my favourite VNs of all time. There were some very nice surprises in there like the reworked soundtrack (I loved the new versions of Standing Tall, Parity and my favourite Painful History) and the animated Act 2 intros.

A few questions:

- Why don't Lilly and Shizune have the same surname, seeing that they are cousins? They wouldn't share a surname if Shizune's dad married a sister of Lilly's dad, but the game says Shizune's dad and Lilly's dad are brothers.

- What's up with Misha's T-shirt? Is she into US politics? Is she a log-cabin Republican? Did she just pick it up somewhere and kept it because it sounded cool? (like the way japanese sometimes toss random english words into their pop songs) And yes, I know she wore the shirt in the Act 1 demo's credits, but I'm still curious.

BTW, thanks for making the H-scenes tasteful without stock dialog and not imitate the typical japanese VN H-scenes that often come across as drawn-out porn commercials in the middle of a romance movie.

What made Misha cut and dye her hair? Prior to Act 1, she had really long straight brown hair. Any reason she moved to pink drills?

Their fathers are not brothers as far as I recall. If it's mentioned in a script, likely an error (possibly on my part)
Misha doesn't care about the text, she just likes the shirt

Why does anyone ever change their hairstyle?
