can't open game without it crashing

I just downloaded and installed the game, and sadly, I am having problems with running it. It crashes immediately after starting, leaving this error log:

Ren'Py Version: Ren'Py 6.10.2e

I have no idea what might be the cause of it - I did nothing else but install the game. I see the files refer to a 'delta' user directory on my computer, which I find extremely baffling, as there is no such user on my machine, nor has there ever been one. How can I fix this error and get the game running? If it helps, I use Windows 7.
