I read that before, and it does reassure me some, but I also saw in another blog post a comment that you and the other path writers were working your own fetishes into it as well.

any chance you've got a link to that blog post? 'cause I could see someone saying that the devs were working in their own fetishes, but if the devs didn't say it themselves, it's not true. I've read most of the blog posts since about when act 1 was released, and I don't remember them saying that.

also, a fetish is just something someone likes, really, it could just something like "girl on top" or stuff like that. it doesn't mean Emi's got a leather collection in her closet or Shizune's going to start sniffing Hisao's armpits.

I archive binged on almost every single blog post before joining the forum and simply put, I misremembered that bit, and some of the context got lost in the process.

Now that Suriko has re-clarified things, and you challenged me to pull up the link/quote I feel quite a bit better about the whole thing. Still, if things get too fetishy in a way that I don't like or that crosses my personal line on what I consider porn vs. just a love scene, then I'll just focus on the text boxes so I don't lose any story, but I'll just have to wait for the full release and see how things turn out.

Even if there is some stuff I don't like, though, I'm sure from the overall awesomeness of Act 1 that I'll like KS as a whole, especially if any of the things on my list from a few pages back make it into the final story.

An ending to one of the girls' paths where Hisao "agrees" to join Kenji's anti-feminist movement to shut him up, but Kenji walks in on him having sex with her. After a rant about how Hisao betrayed him, Kenji tries to kill them both with a knife, but Hisao manages to make it to where Kenji kills Hisao, but also takes himself out as well, saving the girl.

I would be interested in reading a book where you establish Hisao sacrifice ending #1-1,072,585
The next thought that has recently came to mind is a moment in the park near Yamaku. I feel as though there should be a swing scene. Those have always been useful in many situations and are a great scene to use for a conversational piece about the past or feelings.
I could see Emi being pushed by Hisao on a swing as she ends up arriving at the topic of her accident. Despite how perky Emi is she ends up becoming emotional and grips the swing tighter as tears start to well up in her eyes. Emi has also stopped the swing with her blades, dragging them across the dirt. Hisao notices this and after hearing her continue for a bit, one of the options presented is to embrace her (you wrap your arms around her from behind and she is startled at first as you wisper into her ear words of comfort.) while the other option is (listening to her quietly).
Simple thought but has the potential to be excellent.

also like the 2 posts above me I also want to see more depth from Emi. Right now she doesn't seem to have much depth besides from being KAWAII UGUU, I'm not sure how the writer's gonna wing this but I would be interested if Emi starts showing some more vulnerabilities so she can grow onto the player.

Shujoxa is more than likely right, as the devs are not that evil as to build up all the anticipation (actually that was probably more us on the forums) but I have faith that along some lines the devs will find a way to hint or fully reveal Misha's disability and Kenji's ex. As infact they may be one in the same as it has been theorized prior.
