Meh, I refuse to acknowledge hearing stupid or annoying things said to me all the time and also know plenty of other people who do the same. Hmmm, I'd say the one thing that disconcerts most of the characters who come into contact with Rin in KS is that Rin really doesn't have much of a "shut up filter" between her brain and her mouth. Rin casually exposes much more of her inner thought process to everyone than they are accustomed to and that makes for uncomfortable situations for some people.
