I like whatever you did with the contrast there, it makes for quite a nice effect.

The sky, large black area and what you did with the contrast all culminate in me feeling like this was a photo op in the zone.

The fact that you used the burn tool or filter (or at least that's what I think you used) on Hanako makes me lol.
Interestingly enough, newEmi doesn't seem to stand out too much when having her paintjob degraded to the same level as the rest of the cast.

No burn tool here bro. I just made the levels much darker.
And you're right about Emi, the new sprite is actually brighter than the old so tweaking the levels makes her look a little better/popular IMO.

Really nice, except it's too small to be used as a desktop wallpaper! Also, it's probably just me and my OCPD, but the characters and the background don't blend too well (since the background's an image and the characters are drawings). Giving it an effect somewhat like the VN for KS does for backgrounds would make it fit better, I think. Sorry, I like giving constructive criticism. I really do like it, though, especially how it's darker than normal. Too bad you can't see the slight purple in Hanako's hair.

All foolishness aside, that is a very nice wallpaper, and I like how the deep shading brings out finer details in the girls.
