Open BG submissions

If you're going to submit a photo for our open call for BGs, post it in here.

I'm no photography king or anything, and I have a fairly crappy camera, so they could probably afford to be hit with a little photoshop.
Hopefully something here might be worthwhile. Mostly shots around Tokyo and Kyoto, but also unfortunately fairly touristy spots...

Few street pics and the garden at Nijojo. Garden pics are blurry, it was raining and the camera didn't want to focus.

Just a note to devs, I uploaded all of these to our bg source repository, under folders named after their respective contributors.

EDIT: hrm, on a second thought, it's possibly smarter to split everything to the tag categories

I do believe that I started a bit of folder tagging, but my slownet hasn't allowed me to see how it's going right now, but yes, tags are suprior in this case.

I've been reading your blog since I saw the introductory coverage in Japanese networld.

I noticed your call for BG photos in Japanese, and (I know this may sound nosy but)
I thought it could use a bit of an improvement to reach out to broader audience.

* 日本庭園（出来れば池とか川とか有ると可）
* 日本の市街の写真
* 日本の田舎の写真
* Nice boat. (良い船　小型～中型ヨット）
* ”上海”、日本の喫茶店。伝統的な日本茶屋だけど、現代的な趣向もあり
* 学生寮の部屋の中

とりあえずこのくらいです。

ゲームはcc-nc-ndでリリースします。つまり、写真の権利はゲームのリリースのために私達に明示的に譲渡される必要があります。

I just wanted to say that the correction post could use some rewording.
The Japanese text can be read like "Just hand over your copyright BWAHAHAHA".

I'm Japanese by the way.
Since you've written your call in Japanese, would you mind if I relay your call in my journal?

PS A prominent Japanese blogger "finalvent" picked up your beta video on youtube,
and posted a rough translation. I think the quality is good.

I'll see if I can edit the blog posts. But I'm really happy that someone's gone to the trouble of doing a fan translation of our game. We should get the translator in on the game so we can give them some inside information and a dialogue between him and the writers to improve understanding and translation.

I thought he translated the scene just for the w's or so, with no intention to go further than that. Besides the script in question has probably been edited to hell and back since KSGrid1+, from which the video was made of.
