I hate you a little bit. Although I guess it's fine as long as KS doesn't turn into the cripple porn version of Superman Returns.
Don't worry, when Hisao blasts away Emi's memory with his super kiss so that she doesn't know his secret identity anymore, she does not magically get knocked up. We keep that shit.

And nobody let Tim Burton anywhere near any version of the script ever, so we've got that going for us as well.

Really? So that "Rejected Katawa Shoujo paths" script signed "by Tim Burton" with Rin's disability being scissors for hands was a fake?

Darn it! I've been mostly ignoring the KS forum with the exception of the F@H thread for a while and a nice thread like this about Emi pops up. Good comments from Demios, (even though I had to break out the thesaurus for his post. lol!) Ever17, Pimmy, and a surprise visit from TheHivemind.
I wish I had something to add, but the subject seems to have been quite thoroughly and thoughtfully covered. It is nice to see a few of the points others and I have said about Emi in different past threads wrapped up so nicely and succinctly.

Well, I have to say that if there was an ending I found lacking in "bang", it was Rin's. Emi's wasn't that exciting, but it felt like it would work well with more acts.

The reason I've always liked Emi was that she has this wonderful mix of motherly and childish which I find immensely appealing. She's childish and friendly and open in the sort of way that makes it seem like it'd be easy just to hang out with her, but she's also very caring and not afraid to take command when she thinks it'll help Hisao. She gives off this lovely feeling that she really does care and feel strongly for Hisao which I really like. Hisao ducking out to get some food sort of fits the dynamic of her path- where she's the one doing the chasing to some extent. In Emi's route, despite not having Shizune's ulterior motive of the school council, it's mostly her finding you or inviting you places, rather than you finding her. Maybe I'm just lazy, but to me it feels a lot more appealing that she seems actually want to hang out with you instead of most of the times you meet being you inserting yourself or being invited out of politeness or need for hard labour.

I'm not going to lie
I've player through all the paths less then a year ago and I have COMPLETELY forgotten how emi's path ends....
I'm actually trying to remember but i don't think it stuck out enough for me, I think its just that everyone knows someone like emi; bubbly and over the top enthusiasm
So we just sorta push her out of our heads when we come to her, but, I still have high hopes for her and look forward to seeing what she can do in the full game

I have hopes that since Emi started out a bit slowly in Act 1 maybe her path will be one of the longer ones so I can savor it.

It would be wonderful if she had indeed one of the longer paths. Then, I can enjoy her like a good wine until I get to my Hanako steak with my last playthrough.
Ahh, Morticia? I would die for her. I would kill for her. Either way, what bliss.

You want that medium-rare or well done?
Someone had to say it.

Emi probably wouldn't approve of you eating steak.

Meh, I'm sure Emi would not object to Hisao having a lean 6 ounce portion of steak, particularly if Hisao is excercising regularly. Now eating a 30.oz slab o' cow every night is something she would not let Hisao get away with.

If anything Emi would probably be wanting you to eat a balanced diet, so slabs of meat would be okay, as long as it isn't fast food, I imagine.

I was a little disappointed that we didn't get to see what Hisao's diet was. I wanted to mentally gauge if I could do it. Then again, when threatened with seeing The Pout, I'm sure we'd all live off of sewer rat if she said so.

Eating with his girlfriend is likely to be among Hisao's most common activities (that hellish duo dragged him everywhere in Part 1, for example), so I'm quite sure we'll see it in Emi's route.
