My favorite part of Katawa Shoujo is the character of rin and her story.
According to aura's reply on August 9, 2015, we can learn that “Rin doesn't particularly like Hisao, he's just something she latches on to for a while.”. So my friend and I are curious if their future will turn out to be like Sae and her husband's
What do you think.
What do you guys think the future holds for rin and Hisao?

It's been 13 years since I touched her route, but based on my own life experiences I can't see them staying together very long. They might remain friends for a few years after that, but unless Emi intervenes, I have no doubt they'll all drift apart before becoming adults.

What a sad thought.

Not great honestly. But going off the good ending, if they both seriously get their shit together, they might have a chance

Well, if you tinker around with the game files and look at the names of the pictures, you quickly find out that what the developers considered as the true ending to the the Rin's route is where she abandons Hisao and moves to Tokyo to become a better artist. When you combine that knowledge with Hisao's own statement that due to his heart condition he will more likely be dead than alive at the age of 40*, then the answer to the title of this forum topic becomes very very simple:
Rin dumps Hisao, moves to Tokyo and becomes a famous artist. Hisao dies alone and young from a heart attack. Sorry for being so grim, but this is the conclusion when you put all the verifiable snippets of knowledge together.
- (Or was it the age of 30? I do not remember that detail to be honest, but I do clearly remember that he said something about him probably dying young.)
