Hi. I just downloaded the installer for the game and it will not launch. I'm on the latest windows version. the run as admin window pops up,at which point i click yes. then afterwards...nothing. no new window,no error message,nothing. it's like i never even ran the .exe. what do i do?

Where have you downloaded the game, and what is the installer file name?

I downloaded it from the official download page and the file name is called: [4ls]_katawa_shoujo_1.3.1-[windows][A6A47E20].exe this is after the torrent is done.

Filename checks out, but on my up-to-date Windows 11 the installer does go on to the language choice. Is the file size 443.814 KB? If it's not, you might have a corrupted download. Also check your antivirus programs in case they're the ones stopping it silently.

The file size is indeed that. i will check my anti virus

Then I don't know what setting or app could cause this. You might want to try a fresh download in any case to make sure it's not a corruption problem. Perhaps trying to run the installer under compatibility mode might help as well.
