How? Diplomacy is pretty much entirely about communicating ideas verbally, which Rin is...less than good at. At least with humans. If we discover aliens, we'll definitely want her on the first contact team.Zarys wrote:Rin would be a great diplomat.

Re: Random KS Discussion
I had an idea for a comic, but I can't be arsed to draw it out so I'll tell it here.
Emi jokes that Rin should become Prime Minister (president, emperor, I don't know) of Japan... Rin actually likes that idea.
She runs and somehow gets in for the running. Be it for her ideals or her disability, people vote for her. Nobody really expects her to do much, she was more of a joke vote that everyone took for fun, but she makes it.
Turns out she's the best leader Japan has ever had. She single handedly cures 70% of the world's hunger problem, brings Japan out of a recession and brings it's economy up to the second best on Earth and settles more wars than you could shake a stick at.
Rin has the whole world at her heels and she knows it. Everone loves her, the entire world all tune in for her most recent speech.
It's a speech that destroys humanity in one sentence.
after these three words, arguements break out over the crowds. Arguements turn to riots, riots turn to civil wars, civil wars become international wars.
Eventually, nuclear missles are fired worldwide and Japan suffers the most violent casualty rate ever seen in history. Human population is cut down by 40%. And Rin knew it would happen. She sits there in her personal space shuttle watching the earth kill itself and smiles.
What did she say, you ask?
"Pronounce my name."

Like stupid, silly doodles with no point? You've come to the right place, friend :^)
I also occasionally write oneshots. Why not have a skimread?

Re: Random KS Discussion
Not directly related to KS, but somewhat.
Digging through an old hard drive a few days ago, I came across my "secret stash" from about twelve years ago when I had a really shitty computer in my room with no internet access and no CD Rom drive - just a 1.44mb floppy drive. I remember having to transfer everything over one trip down the hall at a time. Naturally, this also included using HJSplit to move porn and hentai.
Among the files I found some of the old JAST visual novels from wayyyyy back in the day that I had downloaded. Decided for the hell of it to fire up DOSBOX and play True Love '95, which was the first visual novel I ever played.
As I get through one of the routes and the main character ends up with the girl of your choosing, I had the distinct thought:
"I wonder if they stayed together and what type of life they would have had the last 20 years."
I think I need help

No, you have reached the next impulse level for fanfic writing — from route to epilogue.Eurobeatjester wrote:As I get through one of the routes and the main character ends up with the girl of your choosing, I had the distinct thought:

Which is kind of sad, given your protagonist.

I have an epilogue fleshed out. Debating to make it a separate story or Act 5 when I get to it.brythain wrote:No, you have reached the next impulse level for fanfic writing — from route to epilogue.Eurobeatjester wrote:As I get through one of the routes and the main character ends up with the girl of your choosing, I had the distinct thought:
