So I'm reading a play called The Glass Menagerie for English class (taking summer classes), and I come across this little bit:
The Glass Menagerie, Scene 6 wrote:[AMANDA produces two powder puffs which she wraps in handkerchiefs and stuffs in LAURA's bosom.]
LAURA: Mother, what are you doing?
AMANDA: They call them 'Gay Deceivers'!
LAURA: I won't wear them !
AMANDA: YOU Will !
LAURA: Why should I?
AMANDA: Because, to be painfully honest, your chest is flat.
LAURA: You make it seem like we were setting a trap.
AMANDA: All pretty girls are a trap, a pretty trap, and men expect them to be !

Would've put it in the Hideaki thread, but that's dead and gone, and I didn't want to necro. I'm saving the green color for another friend that needs to move his dead bones (get the references, and you get teh internets).

I'm sorry to have to point out that I've had to work with many men over the years who were better equiped to think with their penis than their brains. When the brains were being handed out they were in line for dick extensions. Oh well, they make good cannon fodder and will charge through Shizune's minefileds and machineguns with no thought. Hell, their specialty is "no thought".

Still doesn't mean you can run a country or a military properly. Seriously, Zerg Rushing was never a good tactic IRL. The only thing the CCCP was ever good at was building weapons, and that was mostly after Stalin was dead.
Kenji's more like Guevara, but I do see the "nucking futz" part of Stalin in there somewhere.

But to the original post of this thread, yes - every woman is a trap but men would not have it any other way. As Helena of Troy and countless other women have brought misery upon mankind there never remains enough animosity to learn a permanent lesson.
Men need the magic only a woman can provide. Not necessarily in an outright sexual context but in the delusion of being more etheral than your fellow man.
