Re: Emi Ibarazaki Cosplay
Just adding my support for her cosplaying this character. She did good.
That is all.

So, I did get a response, and she was actually really happy that I contacted her and that it was even suggested that I do so. She wants to do this still, but needs to wait until she's in the right frame of mind. She'll be visiting the forum again soonish, so please, let's all be good and polite about this, (myself included, I'll be containing my fanboyism as much as humanly possible) since she was really cool about responding quickly.

Guys, stop it. Seriously.
"wow. A real girl! I really hope she posts more pictures of herself! Please post more picture of yourself! Come back, please!" It's just creepy. Don't be one of those people. Le the topic die. If she wants to come back ad post more, fine. If she doesn't that's fine too.
She made six posts back in May.

Re: Emi Ibarazaki Cosplay
Okay, sure, the topic can stay dormant as long as nothing else relevant to it happens, (I thought I already said that it should after I saw that nothing good was coming out of all this?) but you're definitely making something out of this that isn't there. I specifically made sure that I wasn't acting like that when I sent my message, and I stressed that it was totally up to her. She seemed thrilled that we cared enough to ask and she was the one who suggested making a visit soon on her own accord, all I did was ask if she was doing the cosplay still. You're acting like I stalked her and then begged her to come back against her will, and that didn't even sort of happen.Oddball wrote:Guys, stop it. Seriously.

The problem isn't that people are posting in this topic, it's what's being posted, which is questionable on some fronts. Wanting to see more from somebody who is interested in sharing more isn't creepy though, and I'd rather that accusation wasn't tossed around so lightly, because I don't take it lightly. When I first responded to a post here which is what started this, I didn't imagine that it would go on for three pages, mostly because I didn't expect certain types of comments to be made.

Re: Emi Ibarazaki Cosplay
Wow you look really good! You look a lot like her too, if you had her strawberry blond colour of hair, I'd probably rub my eyes and slap my face thinking that Katawa Shoujo was becoming real.

Can we please, please let this thread die?
Seriously, message boards are a public space, not a men's space, and sometimes you guys get really complacent in forgetting that there are girls who read these forums too, myself included. I can only speak for myself, but some of the posters in this thread are really creeping me the hell out. The original poster is long gone; there is literally no need to keep posting in this thread unless you're hellbent on alienating every female on these forums.
Mods, I'd really love it if this thread could be closed, and failing that, I would beg the posters in this thread to please show a little more class and leave this be.
