Today's the last day of my exams. Got Algebra in a couple of hours and then I'm done. With that off my conscience, I'll start on Lilly's route. I'm excited for it, because I wasn't really satisfied with Shizune's route, and Rin's route only really felt satisfying at the end.

Today's the last day of my exams. Got Algebra in a couple of hours and then I'm done. With that off my conscience, I'll start on Lilly's route. I'm excited for it, because I wasn't really satisfied with Shizune's route, and Rin's route only really felt satisfying at the end.

Lilly's route is great for feeling fuzzy, if you like that sort of thing (which I do, no shame), though it's definitely the least 'intellectually-taxing' of the five.

Makes sense. She does seem like the one who has it most together, which should be a nice change of pace from the previous "chase" routes, where it's Hisao trying to get close to someone and can't for one reason or another. I'm doing it right now. I'm looking forward to more Akira, because she was my favorite.

Emi's and Hanako's aren't especially taxing. "I'M AFRAID OF FACING REALITY!" isn't exactly a tough puzzle. Neither is "I'M A SELF-LOATHING RECLUSE!"

Not entirely. A lot of the meat of Lilly's story lies in what isn't said, or said very obliquely, and why it isn't said. For instance,

How does Lilly feel about her parents? How do they feel about her? What was her visit like? What does it tell us about Lilly that these questions are completely unanswered?

You really have to look for what isn't there. (But should be)

I wouldn't say that. It was a kind of psychological torture watching everything slowly come apart and not being able to do anything about it.

Having Hisao and Hanako gives her the opportunity for a new one at Yamaku though.
