Sorry for the oversized pic. But figured everyone would appreciate the detail.
Too much time in the sun. Speaking of appreciation, Hanako and Lilly.

I love the interpretation of Pac-Man where he's a just a lowly worker retrieving golf balls left all over the course by the rich masters and the ghosts are all previous workers who got conked on the head and killed by incoming golf balls in the line of duty.

Not saying that this is the case in this (although Lilly is also notably facing AWAY from Hanako and Shizune, and probably trying to pretend that they're not interacting...) However, while Hanako is quite cute... I could see someone being affected really badly by their love interest picking Hanako over them. Basically, thinking that they're uglier than the horribly disfigured burn victim.
Can't see any of our girls thinking that way, but y'know it'd make an interesting subplot for a fanfic.

When did Miki grow a left hand, and change hair colors in a span of .1 second?

o.0

And... she's seemingly lost her whole arms in another bit.

 Canon now: This is fanart of alternate-dimension Mikis. (The one with glasses loves math.)

These are cute:

Not Lilly, actually. That's an altered version of this Filicia Heideman:

Great series, by the way.
NB: none of the above is a request

That gave me an idea... what if Lilly actually did know Hanako when she was little, and it turns out that she was guiding her from behind the scenes since childhood because she knew that they'd be friends one day? Obviously there'd need to be an element of the supernatural in there since time doesn't work like that, but still... heart fuzzies.

Cool.

It's Lilly though.

I love the way in this one while Hideaki is (of course) dressed in lingerie on him, he's just looking at the viewer like 'deal with it'. It looks like it could be from a Roald Dahl book as well...a weird, weird Roald Dahl book. 'Hisao and the gender-confused boy.' I'd read the shit out of that xD

Is it weird that I'm totally really really okay with the lingerie? >.>

Here we have the vastly under-appreciated Molly:

Molly is one of Hisao's classmates. She's an Indian that is missing both her legs.

She can bee seen in the CG when Hisao is introduced to the class and appears again in Hanako's ending cg.

Oh, okay. She reminds me of a cross between Humba Wumba and Emi.
