your personal opinion of every heroine/route
Re: your personal opinion of every heroine/route
Shizune - My favorite because of her cute facial expressions lol. That and I like her personality. Her route is the most fun because of all the fun characters.
Misha - (She technically has a route in Shizune's bad ending.) She's cute and bubbly XD.
Emi - My next favorite. I like her personality and cuteness too, but mainly because she acts like how people do where I live. Most relatable of all characters. Also because we both are coming to terms with our dad's deaths.
Rin - She's cute and talks like a worse version of me lol. Her route is the second most fun because there is almost no wrong choices lol.
Hanako - I like her style a lot.
Lily - I like her motherly personality. Her route is also probably the best written route and my third favorite. I just don't like her as much as some of the other girls.
I am competitive like Shizune and Emi. I make about much sense as Rin at times. Always hide behind a smile like Misha.
So I like that I can connect with some of the characters. I only wish this company would make more visual novels cuz this one was downright awesome.

Re: your personal opinion of every heroine/route
I'll at least attempt to keep this short, I like to go deep with this stuff.
Emi: Favourite story in the game, shows that even when your life is supposedly wrecked by some accident, whether it be a car crash or a heart attack, you can ALWAYS overcome it and find happiness. 10/10, read eighteen times. Totally for research. Don't judge me.
Hanako: A second best in my book. She had a fairly basic and predictable plot, taking the first place prize away from her, with the whole "bully victim bacon babe" thing. Best casual clothing, date night and music in the game by far though. 9/10 because predictable ending, still read more times than necessary (16).
Lilly: 3Hollywood5me, in my opinion the least interesting plot in the entire VN (I actually enjoyed the manly picnic more) and the entire thing just reeks of fantasy. I also didn't like her character much, though I'll admit that the scene in the park with Akira was a saving factor. Hell, Akira made it readable for me. 3/10, read it three times. I think we've established by this point that I had a mild addiction.
Rin: As a form of artist, this should have spoken to me. Unfortunately, it didn't. While, on further analysis, Rin's path is without a doubt the award winning plot that movie directors would pay millions for, it didn't reach me until I reread the route for the fifth time, which is both good and bad. It had enough underlying messages to stay interesting for every read through, and it certainly had enough variation with choices, but it took five readings to make me feel anything particularly strongly. 8/10, loved how deep and interesting it got, but I analysed the wrong things at first.
Shizune: A disappointing route, a fascinating character. I constantly tell myself that A22 had fan fiction writers in mind when he wrote Shizune, as there is a ridiculous amount of unexplored potential in her character. A childhood where her father tried to fix something she thought was normal, the unexplained absence of her mother, the real reason for her creative drive, her time in Yamaku before meeting Misha (if I remember correctly, Misha transferred late into the first year), her families connection to the Satou family, the rivalry between both sides, the list goes on. 6/10, because the bad ending had a genuine impact upon consideration of how you'd just ruined a character's life, but the route as a whole wasn't amazing.
Kenji: Manly picnic bro, gotta love it. Whiskey/10, would fall off roof again.
I'd just like to state here that the insane amount of rereads I went through is due to my perfectionist nature. I didn't want any inconsistencies with the original work in my own fan fictions, so I literally engraved every little detail I saw as important into my brain. Including the entire class 3-3 roster, first and second names of every character, roles and disabilities, if any. I'm sure I'm ever so slightly insane, but who cares? I enjoyed it

Emi - Total bitch in her bad end. Fun the rest of the time.
Misha - Loud, too pink.
Shizune - Underrated, pretty good. Dad's a dick.
Lilly - Best girl except Akira.
Rin - Exhausting. Just...Fucking exhausting.

I love the interpretation of Pac-Man where he's a just a lowly worker retrieving golf balls left all over the course by the rich masters and the ghosts are all previous workers who got conked on the head and killed by incoming golf balls in the line of duty.

1) RIN. This was the one that really made me cry the most. this is mostly because it put me into an existential crisis after playing. Her identity issues really attached on to me because I have issues like it. Her attachment to art is what mostly attracted me to her because I have issues like that with my piano. I also feel that out of all of the routes hers had the best art and dialogue. The part about having to destroy herself...holy shit.
2) EMI. Hers was good. I really loved the concept of this 'hidden' personality she had. It was cool to see it come out. I loved the motivation she showed to get past hardships, but to never forget it. She was my first route, so she has a special place in my heart
3) HANAKO. Heart touching. It was full of feels and really touched me. The thing that made me really like the music.
4) LILLY. Good and all, just not my favorite
5) SHIZUNE. Not gonna talk about her.

Re: your personal opinion of every heroine/route
Well, hello necro'd thread.
Well, as I did make a comment in the first and final impressions of the girls. It's best if I do the VN, thoroughly to answer about certain characters.
Lilly.
Very lady and motherly like. Which is the type of person I enjoy being around (probably one of the reasons why she was the most popular in Yamaku). Which ended up being much more relaxed around certain people. To the point of letting herself go, and, sometimes, completely throwing her "lady-like" personality out the window or making you forget she was had one. I can't say she's "two-faced", because she's not. She doesn't have a mask (Masked/Two-faced: Someone that acts differently when around a certain group, than they would around a different group). I don't know how i'd react towards Lilly, tbh.
Hanako.
Too shy for my tastes, tbh. But, i'm not attracted to the girl that's all up in my face, either (probably why i'm not a fan of Emi or Shizune) (ironic that a lot people might say Miki is a "up in your face" type of person). I do agree with Hanako in the "I'm not afraid of people. I'm afraid what I might do to people." type of thing. I like her love for books, even though most I would never be able to read. Not because they'd be beyond my understanding, but they'd get too boring for me (I normally read Ted Dekker books, which are very fast paced (Loved Immanuel's veins)). She also likes Chess, which is quite cool. While, I might be crushed by Shizune or Hanako in Chess, I might be able to hold my own. She'd be someone I wouldn't minds being friends with, but someone I'd most likely not chase around.
If I ever do Mon-Muse Quest. I'll be end up reading through Emi's route, before downloading it.

To be remembered by anyone after death is the goal of basically every soul that's lived in this world.
Re: your personal opinion of every heroine/route
Except when she preferred to dwell incessantly on those hardships, distancing and closing herself off from everyone in the process...Emi's a lotta talk, honestly.InfinitePez wrote:I loved the motivation she showed to get past hardships

Whoa, choosing to shoulder your own burdens and trying not to pass them on to others isn't easy, and even if she can't help but think about her hardships a lot, she does an awesome job working through them with her running. Little girl's a tough cookie.Potato wrote:Except when she preferred to dwell incessantly on those hardships, distancing and closing herself off from everyone in the process...Emi's a lotta talk, honestly.InfinitePez wrote:I loved the motivation she showed to get past hardships

Actually, she does a fairly horrible job working on them. Basically she just ignores her problems and hopes they go away.

Re: your personal opinion of every heroine/route
Pushing through them and working to fix them are two different things. She wasn't going about it the right way, which she learns, but she was still being pretty tough about it.Oddball wrote:Actually, she does a fairly horrible job working on them.
