Hideaki
Re: Hideaki
I originally thought that they were discussing one of the girls' virginity (or lack thereof), but that wouldn't fit the mood of a VN like KW. An ex-boyfriend is more likely. Lilly already has a big sister tacked onto her route, so she's out. Emi's the loli option and a character like that would make her look older by shotacon, so she's out. Shizune has Misha, so she's out. Misha doesn't have a route, so she's out. Isn't it sad, Misha? Hanako is most likely an only child and least likely to have had a boyfriend.
I'm guessing Rin's younger brother discussing her ex-boyfriend with Hisao.
Although now that I think about it, he kinda reminds me of Yuuko. Damn it.

there's no rule that says each girl has to have only one supporting character.HeMeido wrote:I originally thought that they were discussing one of the girls' virginity (or lack thereof), but that wouldn't fit the mood of a VN like KW. Lilly has Akira, Hanako, and Shizune/Misha
Shizune has Lilly/Hanako and Misha
Keep in mind from what I can interpret from the dev diary and the way the game seems to be written (different authors for different paths) means that EVERYONE except Hisao and the path-girl will be relegated to supporting characters.
Re: Do you like Hideaki?
I dunno about you, but if I had someone I interacted with every day who happened to prefer to dress as the opposite gender, I wouldn't really mind. Hell even people I don't know don't really make me feel uncomfortable. Everyone has their eccentricities.Melancholyanon wrote:That's true I'll just be disappointed if they have a trap who's like 5 million other anime traps, and is completely unlike real life where most people would probably be disturbed by his presence.kyuven wrote:considering there's a "healthy" population of /d/eviants here, and the forum rules on /d/ are regularly broken unintentionally (at least moreso than other 4chan boards)Melancholyanon wrote:Seems a bit cliche'd.
EVERYTHING IS CLICHE! Rule 34 is cliche!
At least in our case it's not really fair to be judgmental towards someone for being different when "different" can be a turn on for us if it's drawn with big eyes and rainbow hair.

Re: Hideaki
iirc, Hideaki is Shizune's little brother, or at least that's what his pictures on the Shimmie seem to imply.
Guy even looks sorta like Shizune...

Dammit, now I'm gonna have to search the Shimmie for "Hideaki".U.T. Raptor wrote:iirc, Hideaki is Shizune's little brother, or at least that's what his pictures on the Shimmie seem to imply.

That sketch shows a passing resemblence to Shizune. It is not impossible to be related to her.U.T. Raptor wrote:Case in point: http://shimmie.katawa-shoujo.com/post/view/635
There are also these:
http://shimmie.katawa-shoujo.com/post/v ... ch=hideaki
(lower left corner image that looks to be labled "Shouta trap")
http://shimmie.katawa-shoujo.com/post/v ... ch=hideaki
and
http://shimmie.katawa-shoujo.com/post/v ... ch=hideaki
the 2 links above might indicate Hideaki and Akira know each other.
Hmmm, possible scenario to explain the animosity between Shizune and Lilly; Shizune is mad because Lilly's sister Akira is leading her brother Hideaki "astray". Since she can't reach Akira she takes it out on Lilly who she can.
Wild speculation. I expect the devs will laugh their butts off when they read this.

Oh my, the two of them look really hot together!
Re: Hideaki
Around this forum hottness means missing limbs and such; so they don't realy count as hot. Maybe if they at least gouged an eye out or lopped off a finger or two.Solunar wrote:Oh my, the two of them look really hot together!

Re: Hideaki
So "hot together" would be something like, lop one opposing arm off each, surgically bond together, resulting in an artificial Siamese pair?Bara wrote:Around this forum hottness means missing limbs and such; so they don't realy count as hot. The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy has this to say on the subject of flying.
There is an art, it says, or rather a knack to flying.
The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.
