After finishing all endings, the last ending was the Kenji one.
And It made me think what would be the reaction to the girls.
Then it made me feel depressed for bout a week.

I didn't worry about it too much... I got that ending first, so then I got to go see the mostly-happy endings. ^^ But... I don't think he knew them well enough on that route to have them feel REALLY sad... just kind of. "We liked him, but it's not like we were going out"... ((or "...", in one case)).

Kenji ending is the ending for already-emo "I'm going to be a dick and push everyone away" idiots.

You're not supposed to get emo over VN "bad ends;" you're supposed to get emo over bittersweet and downer "normal ends." THAT'S WHY THEY'RE CALLED BAD ENDS JEEZE

I'd like to see you play F/SN and cry every time Shirou dies (which is a lot).


Also they only knew the guy for like 5 days. The worst they would feel is pity. "It's a shame the new kid had to die. Guess he got depressed and didn't want to live anymore. Some people just can't handle it, you know?" And then they go on their merry way.

As many routes as there are to get to Kenji's end, I'd say it's pretty difficult to judge how each girl would react. Getting Kenji end because of screwing up "Mind Your Step" would likely cause Lilly to feel the worst, while going down Shizune's route only to kick them out of your room would cause them to be the most effected by your sudden death. That said, the whole mopey scene before the manly picnic drives home one point - you really didn't connect to anyone, so it probably won't have much long-term effect on the school, aside from a stronger lock or a fence being installed on the roof.

The Kenji ending was too silly for me to take very seriously. Sure, it's sad that this Hisao made no friends and wallowed in his own shit, but once Kenji starts knocking back whiskey and rambling, it's hard not to laugh. Not to mention the sudden death ending, which didn't even bother Hisao. Not in a "I don't mind dying" way, but a "lol Bad End" way.

You know what made me depressed? The fact that I can't go to cripple school and get a crippled girl. Lifes unfair and I guess thats just how it works. As for the Kenji ending thats totally on you since, you basically went out of your way to die. But thats just me being me I guess.
