Cross Days went one better as long as we're talking added-value merchandise.

Shattering your dreams since '94. I also fought COVID in '20 and '21, and all I got was this lousy forum sig.

May Sky
Gorgeous soundtrack, touching, light-hearted and uplifting story, great heroine, endearing chemistry between protagonists...
I really liked it. It was nothing revolutionary, but it did what it tried to do superbly. Its a simple story, but a really nice at that.
I think it is extremely similar to KS in a lot of ways. There are serious flaws too like some of the translation makes the narrator seem a bit childish at parts, and the poems translated from Japanese don't work amazingly in english(Insani has apologized for both). The art is also noticably lacklustre(but improves as project goes on) but overall, it was truly, very enjoyable. Very impressive for a VN made by just 2 people out of their own money.
Insani's blurb explains it better than I could: http://altogether.insani.org/2008/5.html
I wonder if members of 4LS had heard of this, as I recall somewhere they liked many insani localizations (Planetarian, Narcissu, True Rememberence, etc).

Re: Recommend a VN
I found our how to use the tissues.
1. Wipe my glasses clean, so that I can see the subs.
2. Wipe the tears away after reading the subs.
3. Wipe the glasses again.

Re: Recommend a VN
Now I've really gotten into the game, and I have to say it's great. There was a problem with the sound, but thanks to google it was quickly resolved.
Other than that, there are three more things I want to say about School Days.
1. It's impossible not to be a douche. I've tried, but Makoto just won't listen to me.
2. That feel when you accidently encouraged Sekai to kill your girlfriend.
3. Mutou?!?!?! P.S I somehow managed to get a good end. No blood.

I've gotten about 6 endings so far, and you can be a pretty big douche in some of them, although you really have to tryOtakuNinja wrote:Now I've really gotten into the game, and I have to say it's great. There was a problem with the sound, but thanks to google it was quickly resolved.

Also you might want to spoiler number 2. The only bloody one I've gotten so far is Kotonoha's suicide.

Too bad, When I quote I will read it anyway. But I, actually my brother saw the anime in episode 1-3 and 12 already so that ending aren't too spoiled for me.Flutterz wrote:I've gotten about 6 endings so far, and you can be a pretty big douche in some of them, although you really have to tryOtakuNinja wrote:Now I've really gotten into the game, and I have to say it's great. Nice Boat, Nice Boat, Nice Boat, Nice Boat, Nice Boat, Nice Boat, Nice Boat, Nice Boat
Finished Watanagashi in Higurashi after so much delay yesterday. I personally thinks this is one of the few story that I can simply say "Wow." Writer effectively fooled me about existance of Shion, and with some twist in latter part of the arc, Well played.
To Tatagoroshi.
I want to make Thai Translation of KS alone and protesting with this signature.
Unofficially Demanding. Temporary even-more malfunctioned in English Grammar.
Introducing one of the few thread of it's kind that bring the world together. Wait, Whatever then.

Yeah, I forums aren't the best place to keep spoilers a secret, but it's not that big of a spoiler really.Auratus wrote: Too bad, When I quote I will read it anyway. But I, actually my brother saw the anime in episode 1-3 and 12 already so that ending aren't too spoiled for me.

The writer does an amazing job of manipulating information. He gives you just enough to think one thing, and then you realize that everything is completely different. You have no idea how much you are still being fooled about in the Watanagashi arc.

Re: Recommend a VN
When I watched the first season of the anime, I had to take long breaks between the episodes, to cope with the emotions and the confusion. Mostly the confusion, actually.Flutterz wrote:The writer does an amazing job of manipulating information.
