We already find ourselves spending way way too much time on the aftermath of Act 1 release (even a month+ after the fact), and all of that is away from actually working on the project. But yeah, I guess we might be unnecessarily reclusive for no good reason, I really don't know.

After an hour in the dev channel the PR manager would leave forever and just write lies about how we are. I'd guess he decides what series of sprites are used to best accompany a certain scene. maybe he decides what music to use and of course where the sprites are on the screen.

Visual novels are made of text, pictures, music and visual/sound effects. Directing is simply the art of combining these to a Visual Novel.
