Katawa Shoujo: A Personal Story
Impressions and experiences of a hobbyist Hungarian writer about his first playthrough
In this 35 page long ‘first impressions commentary’, I’d like to share my personal experience with this great game with you: My emotions, realizations, and overall experiences during the first playthrough.
I wrote it in a way that lets you figure out which path I took step by step, and I don’t want to spoil that part for you, which means that, ironically, I have to issue a general spoiler warning on this work. If you didn’t see all the story branches yet, and start to read about a scene you never saw in the game, stop right there if you don’t want to know about that path yet.
This is the link to the copy I uploaded to MediaFire:
Katawa Shoujo: A Personal Story
You can:
1. Simply click the link, and read the whole thing from right there online, or
2. Click the link, and then click the green ‘Download’ button on the top-right corner of the page. That way you can access it when you’re offline too, and it’s easier to print out as well.
Have fun reading, and please leave a comment!

Re: KS: A Personal Story (downloadable)
Now this is a creative way to let people know how you feel. For the first time in months I am not annoyed by a "first-time-feels"-thread.

Cool.
I still have Lilly and Shizune to complete, but I'll be sure to check out your writing when I do!

Impressions and comments of a hobbyist Hungarian writer about his second playthrough
This commentary is a ‘sequel’ to KS: A Personal Story. As opposed to its predecessor, I wrote this essay without any intention to shroud which path I chose. Instead, I opted for a thought-provoking title, to give you something to keep in mind and ponder about while you read through the commentary that I tried to keep just as easily digestible as before.
Since the original’s main appeal was that you didn’t know throughout which path I went with, I strongly suggest that you read through that one first. Even if you don’t mind getting it partly spoiled for you, I suggest the same, because I wrote this one with the assumption that you read it: I referred to it and its content many times.
Warning, in the following part, I reveal the path that I wrote about. View at your own discretion. (As to why, read above!)
In this essay, I’d like to share my personal view, my opinions and thoughts about Emi’s path with you.
This means that I have to issue a spoiler warning on Act 1 in general, and on Emi’s path afterwards.
I won’t reveal if it’s a good, neutral or bad ending, you ought to have something left to explore, right?

It works the same way as previously, you can download the document, or simply read it there.
Have fun reading, and please leave a comment either here, or in a PM!

Re: KS: A Personal Story (downloadable)
First of all, sorry for this extremely late reply, it won’t happen again.
@OtakuNinja: Thank you! I try to offer a bit more than the usual ’omg teh feelz!’ thread can, glad to hear someone noticed that.
@Pandaphil: I hope you got/will get around to that!
Thanks for the comments, both here and in PM!
Finally, the ‘sequel’, KS: Allure of Aether is out! Check it out if you enjoyed this one!

Impressions and comments of a hobbyist Hungarian writer about his third playthrough
This commentary is the ‘third installment’ in the /link following:/ ‘KS: Personal Story’ series. It is of the same spirit as its predecessors, but it explores a probably very uncommon way of playing this game. While I wrote it I presumed that you read the previous works, keep that in mind if you decide to read into this one randomly.
Akin to the first essay, it lets the readers explore the choices taken step by step, so I have to issue a general spoiler warning again.
Here is the link; as usual, you can read it right there, or there is a handy download button on the page itself.
