Not only did I find it heart-warming because it was something I did as a child (as I'm sure many others may have done), it was also heart-breaking at the same time because of how lonely Hisao says she must be to have that game as one of the few ways to amuse herself. It's because it wrenched me both ways that I love this scene.

I've yet to see any support for Emi! Is she really that much more...never mind.

But my favorite is when Hisao, Emi, and Rin eat lunch together on the roof. Close second, though, is meeting Rin for the first time, and all the following dialogue.

Eh, Emi is cute as hell, but she doesn't have any really good scenes.

...so that's why I'm trying to figure out if there is something I need to figure out and then figure that out before it's too late and all hope is lost.

While I love most of Rin and Shizune's scenes, my favorite scene would have to be "Cold War", where Shizune and Lilly get into that fight. That was epic, and made me really curious about what went on between the two of them in the past to cause such a heated rivalry to develop.
Love is Blind. God is Love. Lilly is Blind.

Then, is Lilly God?

There are too many epic scenes in Act 1 alone for me to choose a favorite one. All the ones mentioned so far I liked a lot.

Falkentyne wrote: I loved this scene, not only because you get to see through Shizune's all-business exterior, but because it's almost all done without needing a translator. Not just the roof part of the scene - Shizune swiping Hisao's last bit of food was hilarious, and I wish someone would draw fanart of that bit.

I agree 100% I cannot express this enough.

Nope. Emi's path writer said she is not involved with the festival. I guess that has to explain her lack of any realy distinctive scenes in Act 1. In Emi's path in Act 1 she mainly "cuts Hisao out of the herd", (catches his attention); "puts her brand on Hisao", (goes to the festival with with Hisao and thereby telling all the other girls, "Hands OFF! He's MINE!!" ); and starts training him like a 3 year old stallion bound to run in the Kentuckey Derby.

Beautiful scene, the only reason It isn't my fav scene is that painting staring at me, as if mocking me.
